My coworker did it to. She went to goodwill she picked up a $200.00 hand bag for $2.00 and then she wnnt down the dark side of resllering . She dropped over $1,000 for hand bags. It took her over 6 years to get her money back .

Its hard to be a reseller on Amazon now because all of the top video game resellers are having Amazon block all of the new video game resellers. Having them make Amazon make the top ranking video games "unavailable" to get ungated. Not saying this is you Caleb, but you know that this is kind of true.

Started selling to you recently. You've nailed it towards the end of the rant - receiving in fewer types of items and having people like myself find the inventory for you is a really great system and timesaver. As much as I enjoy sourcing, the amount of filler games I have to sell through and find ways to bundle with consoles etc is a real time killer. I'm looking forward to using the software - curious to see what you've all developed!

Learning to get all the work done that is required to make sales is good with books too. They dont take up much space, theyre everywhere, and theres good margin to be made.

A goldmine for alternative sourcing is junk companies. In Canada 1800 got junk is a big one. These guys do estates and evictions and a lot of little stuff along the way. I worked for them briefly and I knew guys were making a $1000 or more reselling the things people were paying them to take away. It's an insanely good way to get a catalog of stuff built up. If you can't get a job with one just flag down one of their trucks and talk to the drivers. If you a lot about something like records or games just let them know and have them text when stuff comes up. Not everyone can know everything so they make just give you crates of records for like $10. It also helps them by reducing dump charges (which are by weight).

Top 5 things I suggest 1. Business bank account and idc if it's attached to your bank account as a secondary checking 2. Credit card This will cut 60% of bs 3. Rent to your business idc how much or what u do, but look into ur laws the max u can do for most money. While not increasing taxes. In the end there is tax write off for u as a renter and so take advantage. 4. Consider shoes/car as your business expenses since we need to be all over the places 5. Don't be afraid to Donate 2 times a yr to thrifts of your ebay/Amazon finds for tax write off for business and for you. Idc if it's literally 1 item to a thrift.

most of the thriftstores I have been through wont let people scan items or take pics of items. But they are small so they can see you doing that. I feel that's the wrong way of doing it. They are getting their asked price and they sell more if they let us buy for reselling. They just throw the things away if they dont sell within a specific time.

Can't wait to hear about the software, your videos have taught me a lot over the past few years. I have put what I learned to practice in reselling as an hobby but it's not just that: I achieved a better general understanding of how the instore and online market works and that has proven to be actually helpful not only as a seller, but as buyer as well. You indeed learn a lot from experience, and in this case it was not just my personal one, but mostly yours, watching all these first person recordings of you making deals, with little tips here and there, showing not only what worked but maybe most importantly what didn't. All of that while hearing your thought process and being entertained by some quality KZbin content (by the way, thanks Riff). So glad I found your channel back then, thank you for your videos and keep up the great work

Well. You say you got hooked in the beginning of the video. I do not do such business, but what I see from you I would say, you seem to be a very smart guy and well spoken. I found you kinda annoying to be honest coz you talk and talk about making money and running around for good deals and such. But, yes, I think you are quite smart and know what you are doing. It seems you have a good business going. Every business can have ups and downs. You learn, you go on. Dont give up. Find your way. So, for now I think it is not so much of being "hooked", you have fun in what you do and you have success. Meaning, you are in your happy state of life when it comes to your work life. I do not know if I am right or wrong. But, I see that you have also a good personality. You are polite and you do not screw someone over. You have friends, business friends you are also taking care of and vice versa.
