So all jokes aside, I had covid in February and I was also in mourning, so I'm not too surprised about this in retrospect. I've worked in palliative care, with dementia/ Alzheimer's disease patients. It is so distressing to the person, they feel horrible for forgetting family members. It breaks their hearts when their own mother doesn't recognize their daughter or son anymore. It must be really terrifying, when the brain is suffering from this degenerative disease to not recognise faces, places or how you have gotten somewhere ( which is in later stages a really big problem). If you ever entered a room and forgotten what you wanted to do, but that hypothetical room can be there at any step you take.

I genuinely felt so bad seeing you react to something like this just because I’ve seen the effects of Dimentia on family members first hand. I can say with some amount of confidence, however, that it’s oftentimes a very subtle thing that occurs later in life, quickly progressing into something much worse. You’re far younger than most and given your constant setting of working online it’s not uncommon to become so familiar with your environment that you become absentminded in that setting at moments. Basically, it’s far more likely you had just forgotten moments of that day in the sheer number of days you’d played Elden Ring and memorable moments you had made considering it is your job (and also how taxing Elden Ring is on players’ minds at times lmao).

I’ve had moments I actually don’t remember until I see photographic/digital evidence of it; because my memory is generally based on emotion because of trauma and genetic problems, so I’m prone to repressing memories and only realizing I was happier having forgotten it, after I’ve remembered it. Teo was just in slow mode and it’s a pretty basic idea.

I remember being 14-15 and writing a long ass detailed story for how they could introduce a Dragon Pickaxe into Runsecape in 2004/2006 and then in 2009-2011, they introduced a quest that was my idea and it ends with unlocking the ability to use a dragon pick as well as allows access to a location that you can farm it. Granted they added an ending, my story was just retracing a dwarfs drunken steps and the game has you legit do just that and get hammered and ends with you unlocking a new quest chain. I was annoyed that I didn't get anything for it but they legit took my story and polished it up into a multi-tier chain quest that was probably one of their better quest albeit annoying AF as you have to level skills that serve little to no purpose other than for quest chains and padding time.
