They fixed Hestia’s boon that consumes scorch stacks-it wasn’t working properly before the patch. So it may have actually increased your damage in this case. Scorch is a little annoying in that (as far as I can tell) building up stacks doesn’t increase how much damage it ticks for, just how long it ticks. So consuming the stacks for immediate damage is actually really helpful.

There are so many great options for aspect of pan I love it. Poseidon and Apollo legos are both awesome, Aphro works great in general, Zeus is fun as heck, and now here you are with Demeter and Hestia. And Hera and Heph aren't even bad. By far my favorite aspect atm.

Pan aspect S tier for sure. Just finished 32 fear with it. The damage is unreal with poseidon's boons.

​@@lil_padre You go poseidon special, get slippery slope and then if you're lucky roll for crashing wave and the legendary king tide. Melts bosses much faster and damage is more consistent across the board since you do a ton from up close and far away. cast, dash to safety, charge your omega special, rinse and repeat.

Double boon rooms can't give you duo boons unfortunately. Still great for filling the prerequisites tho.

I know that's confirmed for hades 1, but is that the case for hades 2 or are we just extrapolating from Hades 1?

@@josh___something I've yet to see anyone confirm it can happen. More importantly, the reason why it isn't possible in H1 is narrative consistency: if you chose one deity over another and they became displeased, it stands to reason that they wouldn't give you a cooperative boon which has a strong chance of being with the god you just picked over them and in H2 your god pool is even smaller (4 Olympian gods maximum w/o keepsakes in H1, only 3 gods in H2 but more alternative boons like Hermes, Artemis, and Selene).

Oooooh I had something similar in my early runs but with the axe, I had Scorching Cast + Freeze with it which deslt alot of damage. But I got bodied by Chronos, but now I wanna try what you did with this run it seems really fun and powerful. Great video, keep it up!

Haven't finished the video yet but this reminds me of one of my favourite bow builds from Hades 1. Using Chiron with dionysus on special and aphrodite on attack. And then hoping for the duo boon between the 2. Just melts the guardian healthbars away

If the rules are the same as the first game, duo boons cannot appear in trial chambers. They're still good for clearing boons out of the pool, though. Also, Extinguisher is better than it looks. Bosses can clear scorch by teleporting or going invulnerable, so it's one of the only ways to take advantage of those big numbers by making sure you get value out of scorch quickly.

i recommend trying hephaestus and demeter out sometime. they have a disgusting duo boon that makes all of hephaestus' blasts RESET freeze so you can freeze blast, freeze blast them into oblivion. i recommend a faster/aoe weapon and put hephaestus on the attack and then upgrade it so you're proccing every second or two and then throw freeze on your special. then you can put both demeter's cyclone AND hephaestus on your cast and it doesn't outright freeze them during the blasts but it slows them down i have been using the aspect of melinoë. the idea is to omega special and freeze a crowd, get behind them and dish out insane damage from the hephaestus attack mixed with backstabs and during all of that you're throwing out your omega cast which is doing 3 big blasts and also keeping them slowed from demeters cyclone legit one of the most unique combinations in this game if you ask me. i'm gonna try them on the aspect of moros today. the sceptres that explode when your specials smack into your attacks. that oughta be some fun 😆 oh and you might as well put hephaestus on the sprint too because you will be sprinting to get close to enemies a lot so what's the harm in doing damage from said sprint

I got that last night along with the Zeus ranged cast blast made Eris easy since I just cast at range then could just focus on dodging and the hammer cast applying freeze and reapply the hammer hits played itself.

Nice vid. Scorch number is definitely high but the damage it deals is so low (you can see it in summary screen) bc dps cap for scorch is 40 so most of the scorch will never be used by before the fight end. Thus, fire distinguisher boon is powerful bc it makes scorch deals bc damage immediately.

Had a similar experience with Poseidon's splash with those weapons. Normally not a fan of his but the flat damage on each knife got ridiculous with a couple hammers. Did enough damage to trigger the next immunity stage with each shot.

Honestly, with the right setup and boons, pan gets more broken than the machine gun build, I had a run where I killed cronos with just 4 cast/special omega.. shit is crazy.

Aspect of Pan is the new Chiron and I love it. The duo doesn't work if they are already frozen/inflicted with freeze though, just a heads up. It only adds whatever scorch is on the enemy before they are frozen/inflicted with freeze. If you like Pan, then try it with poseidon special and hestia cast, goes crazy

You may not know but you can dash with left click during the hecate polymorph ! It helps dodging bullets or hiting pillars to kill your ennemies :)

Get Aphrodite's epic special damage buff. Upgrade it to 280% Get hammer that does 40% special damage and also fires all around you Get hammer upgrade the makes the blades come back to you and do 50% more damage Get 2 chaos gates that upgrade special. Get hammer that does +4 power everytime your special hits the same enemy Get charon well special damage upgrade Sit back and chill as you can now defeat any boss in 3-6 hits. dont even bother dodging anything

That's a very fun build for sure. although if you look at the end, your specials alone did 111k+ damages, while scorch "only" did 23k, so scorch, while looking impressive, actually didn't amount to much, as I believe the damage counted is the actual damage that got "delivered" and not shown onscreen, I don't know if I'm being clear. Basically, the number of scorch you see is never gonna be the amount of scorch actually delivered, since while you're building up the scorch, you're also delivering other damages at the same time (like most of the time here, the special), killing your opponents way earlier than when all the scorch damage actually finishes its countdown. Scorch certainly looks impressive and a lot of fun, but I mostly see it as H2's version of hangover, which was actually superior as it could be stacked in damage with each hit, whereas for scorch, you have to get Hestia's legendary to speed it up.

Hera's cast is great for Pan because it lasts long enough for you to throw multiple omega specials. If you grab her sprint too, you'll be stacking up massive Hitch damage. My first Chronos kill used that build.

Hooking knifes are amazing. I close to use it every run. I a another good combo with the hooking knife, is backstab and regen. Then you got your self a oneshot build

ngl fire extinguisher wouldve nuked imagine the extra damage u wouldve done. Having scorch stacks is nice and all but they just keep going down slowly and convert to damage when u couldve just applied 300 each time and it blowing up dealing whatever percent Fire extinguisher wouldve done in an instant

When you get hit with the polymorph, you can left click to attack and you get a small lunge forward. Not great for attacking, but if you spam dash with the attack you can double your movement speed while sheeping

Fantastic. Went and tried it but got aphrodite on the special instead. couldn't get the Daedalus that returns the specias to you, but got the one that fires them around you. Probablu similar effect? Pretty broken By the way, I don't think duo boons ever appear in contest rooms :/

Honestly I’ve just fought it so much I just know the timing now. It really doesn’t telegraph the sweep attack so you kind of have to guess until you get it consistent.

Hate how fear testament is decided by the weapon, makes sense but i dont see a point in playing with the sister blades again if my only option is to fight chronos at 32 heat. And it might just be me, but i feel like so far Zeus is the weakest God and his support boons arent good at all, blitz is probably the worst effect you can use lmaooo. also, just wanna say i love your vids, didnt wqtch you until hades 2 released but youre a very solid youtuber and you make great videos!

as far as i can tell it should double the already EXISTING scorch on the enemy, and u can inflict freeze all the time (it has a cooldown) so it wont do much considering that u need the cast with the freeze to even apply the scorch. am i wrong here? i didnt really experiment with this before.
