The good thing is now you got a 2 year warranty with Nike. With natural use, if anything happens to them, you’ll get a voucher for the full price to buy whatever you want from them. I wonder about the durability of mizunos on AG pitches as well.

They didn't "lie" about the K Leather. They just have a batch of boots in certain sizes that they send out - already boxed and wrapped. Some are K-Leather, some aren't. The reason that they have the disclaimer is because fucking California made it ILLEGAL to sell any K-leather boots here. Which means you have to fly to another state (like Deen did) or use the goddamn black market underground railroad to get a pair here. Usually, I just have them shipped to a relative and have them ship it to me (used/gifts aren't illegal, which is why ebay sellers can send it). Or just stock up when I visit Japan. It's a real hassle.

Kinda sucks that they lied about the k-leather. Another way to get some crazy deals on boots without having to gamble on what you're getting is finding your closest outlet mall that has a nike, adidas, puma, new balance, etc store. They'll usually have older colorways of current models for half the price, I recently got some highlighter yellow pred elites for 130 at the adidas outlet.

The only bad part about the mystery boots is some fit so much different than others. I wear an 11-11.5 in Adidas and Nike, but a 10.5 in Mizuno (never switching back, sticking with Mizunos forever)

Just a heads up - AG doesn't look like what you were playing on in this game. You were playing on turf. I see a lot of confusion around this. AG is literally high quality 3 and 4 g pitch where it looks like blades of grass that you can almost run your fingers through. It should kind of feel like grass with your eyes closed. Turf is typically a lot shorter. I'm not from America, but moved here, and I find turfs are the most versatile option because you guys have a wide range of field quality in your major cities. The concerns about ACL tears may be overblown, and even if you wear turfs, there's no guarantee you won't do an injury - that's just soccer - but either way I'd seen anecdotal reports of your knees struggling when you get into your 30s with lots of games on artificial grass and turf using cleats. All that is to say, those are your knees my friend, treat them as you see fit.
