first one was facts but the second one is crazy... Studs in football is like studs in any other sport, for SAFETY. The studs stabilize your feet and help grip on the ground. without proper studs many people have had ankle injuries and acl injuries. if football was played indoors on wood maybe, but studs dig into the ground to help the player.
