I have had this same haircut for the last few years, but I just had a more blunt cut after years of shattered ends. I actually am really loving the feel of blunt ends. I also feels better--healthier and more like my old hair. I know what she was saying about cutting into the hair, but sometimes it feels so good to do the exact opposite.

I've been trying to get my cut like yours but it always turns out thick, blunt and chunky at the bottom :( I'd love to show my stylist your haircut/style. Also, I LOVE your natural hair color! It's still light enough to show dimension, no matter how you decide to style your hair. Since my hair color is very dark brown/black, it just looks like a big dark blob when I curl it. LOL

Ask your stylist to taper the ends! If they just cut your hair straight across, the ends will be blunt and chunky. Ask them to cut upwards into the ends!

Oindrilla Deb cutting your own hair with kitchen scissors is actually super damaging to your hair and is probably super uneven. Get your hair done by a professional or a hairstylist in training.

I use bio oil on my face and love it! It might be some of the lightest oil I've ever used. I find it's both hydrating and brightening for my skin.

love bio oil. I use it for my face and on my arms and legs. Its also really good if you have scarring. If you have oily skin maybe not for your face but for dry skin right before bed it works great. Would probably be too oily for the morning or during the day.

Melissa Geittmann It does! My husband uses it because his hair gets extremely oily really quick, so he appreciates that it dries it up a bit. But I won't touch it with a teen foot pole, my hair hates it.

+Ania D. Yes, technically it is. However most of the hairdressers I know, and the ones I have seen on youtube, say not to use it because it actually dries your scalp out more. Tea Tree products work well. I've even heard tea tree oil rubbed on your scalp works well...but good luck getting that beyond your hair!!! LOL

dandruff flakes are not from dry scalp but actually an oily skin reaction called seborrheic dermatitis. That's why head and shoulders has ingredients to stop fungal growth and also dries the scalp.
