How I got 20,000 YouTube Subscribers!

On the 25th October 2024, my KZbin guitar channel, Guitars Are Hard, passed 20,000 subscribers! This is amazing. Thank you so very much! But just how did I do this, and in less than three years? I'm returning to playing guitar after a 20+ year absence, so I'm no virtuoso. (My fingers & brain don't work like they did in my teens / twenties!) I am in essence not very far from a beginner.
Join me on my journey into the world of guitars. This will be a magic, mysterious, thrilling, sometimes infuriating, journey into learning, playing and recording guitar, and all things guitar related.

At the end of 2020 I was challenged to record a cover version of "Seven Nation Army" by the White Stripes on my guitar. The challenger said that if I recorded it then they would record themselves singing over it. This kick-started my 2022 drive to not only re-learn the guitar, but improve on my 'skills' from my 20's, finally conquer the instrument, and start the "Guitars Are Hard" KZbin channel to share my experiences and knowledge with others.
