As Wales has original native Britons oldest language here pre dates roman by over 3000 years like out dates English. I recommend visiting Wales sometime more beautiful. I have polish girlfriend we started dating really magical love I feel for her incredible amazing beautiful lady inside n out. Congratulations on your becoming British. I am British, too, but by birth. My father was a Free Polish soldier in WWll. In 1989 his Polish citizenship was restored and, as a result, I am a Polish citizen, too. It’s great being a British Pole😀

Congratulations on your citizenship! Just FYI, if nobody else has told you, Poland allows dual citizenship but will not recognise you as a British citizen because you are also a Polish citizen. So don't try to enter Poland with your British passport - it could create unnecessary problems at the border. Also, now that the UK have left the EU, there's really no point using your British passport in the EU - British citizens can only stay for three months in the Schengen Area, whereas EU citizens can stay for six (but in reality you can stay for as long as you like). Hope this helps!

Why did they not accept your Diploma certificate for your English requirement? You said something about it not being a post graduate Diploma.. Does it have to be a degree, Diploma or a post grad degree, or Diploma.. Confusing...

A non-university postgraduate qualification would be something on level 7 - master's level. My diploma is level 6 which technically is the same level as an undergraduate degree but it's not enough for some reason to proof the english knowledge. Confusing and annoying, I know, but it is what it is 😅

Thank you! I remember having to go through my emails and messages to find dates for all my jobs, since I stated working in the UK. So that was just over 6 years of being here. @@suriella126 Hmm I’m not sure, sounds like your husband took an academic exam in English at school/university since he got a grade? I took a B1 test at a certified test Centre and it was just a pass. Best check with the latest guidance for citizenship application on the .gov.uk website to make sure: www.gov.uk/government/publications/form-an-guidance Or do you mean he completed his degree? If yes then he will need to provide a scan of the degree certificate during the application.

Thank you! I think it’s quite personal. For me, my identity and thinking about future-proofing was enough to make it worth it and I’m so glad I can call myself a British Citizen. But for others, it may seem like a waste of money if they don’t need it to continue living in the UK (I didn’t need it really, but I wanted to get it). I hope it makes sense 🙂

It depends on where you’re from, how long you’ve lived in the UK for or if you’re just planning to move… I personally didn’t need it as I already had a settled status. But I wanted to have it done.

Yeah each passport is independent and I don't need to have both valid all the time. But from what I've read, if you are a citizen of a country, you should use that passport to enter it. But I don't think it's a solid rule.

Hello, I suggest you seek advice from an immigration solicitor etc or send an enquiry to HMRC as honestly I don’t know. I had to provide my employment history and I worked since I moved here so I simply shared my full employment history with them.

As a half Polish and very proud EU Citizen (in particular in the light ot latest parliamentary elections results in Poland) and the other half of mine holding a passport of a Country Citizens of are everywhere welcome in the World with open arms, something brits can only wish for, I'm very happy for you indeed. I was told by the British embassy in Berlin/ Germany to check out a guidance UKF. that's for persons born before 1 July 2006 to British fathers and whose parents were not married. Later I found the appropriate application form ukf. But I am really struggling understanding everything and loved to get some professional advice. Hello, I believe it’s ok from my memory, but make sure to read carefully through the instructions that come up about the refrees when you get to that stage. I think the instructions there had some extra points compared to the application guidance PDF. I used the Finance Director (chartered accountant) from my work as the professional referee and a friend from the gym as the non professional referee.

I moved to the UK straight after graduating from high school and started my adult life here. I will ignore your remark on my age, it's fairly simple maths.
