Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised that the Atem mini doesn't come with Resolve. To my knowledge, only the Resolve specific products like the colour panels and editing keyboards, and the cameras actually come with the software. But when I do the full video, I will go through what comes in the box

Just think about all the most common things you do, or the things that would speed up your workflow. I have split at playhead, ripple delete, delete, and play/pause set to buttons on my mouse

If it could be hacked to work with other editing softwares I'd say it's worth it. The Elgato Stream Deck + seems more intriguing. But would love to see a comparison.

The stream deck + would be good for general use I think, I don't think it could replace the jog wheel though. Thise dials don't seem like they'd be good for timeline scrubbing

What you mean it comes with 80$? I see on website is a separate item to buy so it’s like over 300 plus other 300 for the studio program. How you get it for 80?

So the actual item costs the 300 or whatever, but it comes with the software license in the box. So I paid $575 AU for the speed editor (that comes with the software) whereas the software by itself is $495 AU, so only $80 less. I'll explain this a bit better in my full video about it on Sunday

@iKIMshuffle fair enough. And yes it is by BlackMagic. The free version is also very useful, you can do so much with it so don't feel like you have to buy the studio version if it doesn't make sense for you

That sounds like a problem. Have you tried plugging it in via USB? Also, I know there is a section in settings so it might help to check that out

@@itmeremy it doesn't work with usb cable. But now after serval times connecting it, now it works with Bluetooth. As soon i plug the cable in, it doesn't work anymore

@LifeofJohnG yeah, you get the license for free included with a bunch of other Blackmagic products. The Speed Editor was just under $600AUD and the software on its own is like $500AUD, so I thought it was worth it to pay a little bit more for the speed Editor and get the software as well
