I was also diagnosed with MS 14 yrs ago. Then PD 8 yrs after that. Thankfully my MS has been quiet, b/c just having PD symptoms has been challenging. Keep the faith, good luck, and exercise!

Oh wow! That’s great to hear. I mean the doctors don’t seem to have much to say. And yes PD is more than enough

Thank you for sharing. I should have been diagnosed years ago. Actually, a nurse practitioner thought I had PD 7 years ago. Low B12 and a clear MRI changed her mind. Diagnosed with DATScan in 2022. I was actually relieved. The medication has helped with the stiffness and pain they said was caused by fibromyalgia.

I was relieved too! I think the stress of not knowing was worse than the diagnosis.

Almost exactly my story 5 years ago. I'm 54 now. Positive thoughts from here ❤

Thank you for this. I have LBD-basically the same thing. It’s hard to accept, but it’s not the end. Stay positive, stay strong.

Hang in there dear. We have a large support group. Not just for commiserating, but for finding effective approaches. I’ve done stem cell treatment for mine and it really helped.

I’m not too far behind-hitter a year on April 3. Had a similar path of random symptoms until an MDS put it together.

I have been told I have PD, and have every symptom you mention with severe headaches. I have had a negative Datscan and no tremor, but an internal tremor. I am unsure I have this because the Datscan is normal?

@@kevinsomers2541 there is no test for Parkinson’s that is 100%. Ultimately it is a “clinical diagnosis “ given by a qualified neurologist based on observation and talking to you about your symptoms.
