Waste of energy to plan it as it’s not affected by lure boosts, still having 9 active at once for 30 mins will get all players 1,000+ coins easily.

In case it could help anyone, if there’s a rocket grunt at a stop, spin it first, battle the rocket and you can spin the stop again immediately after winning the battle. This gives an extra spin in the 30 minute window. Good luck everyone!

The one thing I really noticed when I went to Disneyland (yeah) was how OUTDOORS everything was - all the lines etc. So I get it. Whereas here in Michigan, I have a lot of places I can stand under awnings or in restaurants and do my Pokemon Go-ing from warmth and dry areas.... once the roads are plowed, sidewalks are cleared, and I can get there.

I got around 50 coins from my own golden lure module, but I haven't been transferring postcards anymore these days because there is a rarely occuring but very dangerous bug in Pokemon S/V Version 1.2.0 that can corrupt your complete save file, so I'm not risking that until it's fixed... No Gimmighoul until then :/ And I got extremely lucky on my second day with the Gimmighoul chest where I actually got a 100% IV Gimmighoul, so I'd love to evolve it...

i got absolutely nothing good from that hitmon event, almost 200 catches and 0 shiny, it ended up being more of an annoyance to catch those things at least we didnt have them cluttering spawns for more than one day

I'm very surprised you haven't raised the issue of this Pokemon being locked behind a major pay-wall. You have to have a Switch and Ruby or Sapphire, which is a lot of money. If you're rural you aren't likely to find someone else who has one. Even if you have someone to do the first postcard, don't you need to keep sending postcards to get a golden lure. This seems like a worse pay-wall than the Mystery Box and Meltan/Melmetal were.

Well organised Nick. But unfortunately this is a typical them and us situation. Living in a rural area, we’ve not even got enough Pokéstops close to each other to get much of a grouping together. Also, I’ve a feeling that there will be only a few people with a Switch. I guess we’ll have to wait for another way of getting the coins for this evolution. 😢

Some people are planning a lure party in my community but what it the value of having 999+ coins if the actual pokemon is locked behind a switch device and a Rs 5,000 game.
