So basically I already failed the first point -. - I'm already doing a masters, failed my undergrad a bit due to covid and insanely late retake dates ( October, when my MA already started) and personal motivation problems. I'm trying to make up for it with my MA. I really hope I can full though and manage to get applied fro a PhD

Doing a masters can help make you competitive!

To put it simply you need Research experience As many poster presentations as possible Your own research project where you will write a literature review and if possible publications. All very possible depending on how dedicated you are

It depends on your field but generally speaking a masters is required. She made a video stating she only knows about the clinical psychology route. People, don’t believe all what you see on social media, so your own research and find out the requirements from the school you plan to attend.

Do you believe that the same guidelines can be applied to the international students?
@GradLifeGrind Жыл бұрын
Generally, yes. Since I am not an international student, I cannot speak with confidence about the guidelines in this case. However, most graduate programs have detailed information on their admissions webpage that can help you determine whether you may be competitive without a master's degree, what courses are required prior to enrollment, and any additional info for international students. When this info is not readily available online, I recommend contacting the graduate program(s) you are interested in and asking them your specific questions so that you have all the information you need prior to applying.

I’m starting my junior year of undergrad would you still recommend undergrad to PHD
@GradLifeGrind3 жыл бұрын
Just sharing my own story here, and it's hard to recommend a specific path for you because everyone's journey is different. It is possible to go from undergrad to PhD or PsyD if you have enough to be competitive (e.g., research and/or clinical experience, strong GPA and/or GRE, good recommendations, etc.).
