There's not one great source. Often it starts backwards by combining both your interests and the areas you want to be in. So I knew which states I'd consider, then which programs were there, and then looked at their website for info on rotations, attractive quality, future potential for additional training if needed.

this sounds very very tough, But i would love to do cardiology, I will have to work on my cohesiveness and team leader aspects. I feel if you know everything about the patients it should all be okay. Cant spend too much time on a patient either.

I am currently in MS2, I wanted to know that as cardiology is very competitive will post doc research fellowship become necessary to get matched into cardiology fellowship in coming years or if someone has good numbers of publications probably more than 50 ( Meta analysis and systematic reviews) he can also match? Also did you do post doc research fellowship?

Don't think 50 research projects are expected. Not every fellow has a publication but may have projects that turned into reports, abstracts, presentations. Yes it can be research heavy to apply but not as much as you think. Thus needing extra time for research in a field that is still heavily clinical isn't something I see happening for most
