how i got into cornell cals - stats, activities, and more

hi! i'm going to cornell university's college of agriculture and life sciences this fall, and i thought i'd share my commonapp profile for anybody interested. i'll be discussing my stats, honors, extracurricular activities, recommendation letters, and additional information section. thank you for watching! this is my first youtube video so judge accordingly haha

hi there!! thank you for watching :} yes I would put certifications in the honors category. this comes with certain caveats; if it's something related to an activity that is significant to your life, like a lifeguarding certification when you're a competitive swimmer, you could include it in the activities list when describing the activity. also, if you have other awards in which you were competing with other people for a ranking-based title, i would prioritize those over a certification in the honors list! hope that helps and if you want further clarification lmk!!
