Sadityciaa my GPA was LOW! A 2.5 I think and but my SAT score was a 1,800 something I think. I always had 3 years of work experience , 2 after school clubs and 3 sports .

How did you pay for school?

I worked all summer as a lifeguard and saved ass much as I could. After FASFA I still had to pay 8k a semester in cash so I worked and payed as much as I could and would take the rest out in loans. After my second year I joined the ROTC program and they paid my tuition for me. Thats a good option but you have to be committed and you will have to join the army after you graduate. So Im in the national guard now. That means I only have to work for the army one weekend a month. Its like the reserves.

hey, I have a 3.1 unweighted/ 4.2 weighted, I’m in 2 clubs, have 2 leadership positions, had a job, and have a lot of community service, do you think I have a chance?

You absolutely have a chance !!! If you don’t get in the first time, you can always transfer the next year. They take A LOT of transfers. I will tell you that if that does happen most likely they won’t accept all your credits from the first school. So you might end up being a freshman again. But keep focused and pray on it. I hope everything works out for you!

Hey I’m going into my senior year with a 2.5 ( I’ve had a hard year and difficult time with battling family issues and grade along with track this year) I’m striving for a 3.0-2 this year when I apply and I have yet to do the Act bc of the pandemic but I’m doing it as much as I can before applications and decision day! Do you think I could be able to get in ?

Da Blasian anything is possible and just keep trying your best. I do know it’s a lot easier to transfer into howard your sophomore year if you don’t get in freshman year. So don’t be discouraged if you don’t get accepted right away. A lot of people transfer in.
