How I Got Into Stanford // Stats, Extracurriculars, Awards, Etc.

Hello! Can you explain how your grading system works? You got 100/100 in most of your classes but does that mean that you never missed any points on tests or homework assignments? I have a 4.0 unweighted and 4.7606 weighted gpa but I couldn't even fathom never missing any points... EVER. Thank you for any clarification you can give.

Hi! This is Emelia responding on my own private account because I never saw this. I did essentially get a 100 on every assignment/test. There were a few times where I missed a point but it was pretty competitive at my school so we hardly made any errors to stay in the top. I hope your college application process went well and you are loving where you are at!

@@emeliarichling thanks for the response! I got into the USC Business School but I ended up choosing San Diego State University because of the cost of USC.

did you end up submitting your act score? im torn because my score isn't great for the school I want to attend but it's also not terrible,, but I feel like if I don't submit it they assume it was worse than what I actually got. also thank you for this video!! it was interesting seeing the theme in your application. congrats on your acceptance!!

Yes, I did submit it! I’d recommend that if your ACT is the 25th percentile or above for a school you’re applying to you should submit it.
