Povheng Yam You’ll be ok. Grades=money. If you’ve had really good grades in the past (A’s & B’s), there’s a big chance you’ll get some type of merit-based scholarship. The more schools you apply to, the better your chances of getting something.

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but any top MBA (T7) program in the US will not even look at a person's application unless there are 2-4 years of working experience. Adcoms look not only at the applicant's GMAT and GPA scores (to indicate this applicant's intellectual capacity to complete an MBA program) but also at this applicant's employability (hence, the working experience).

+Kathy Sterinzat I've met plenty of Harvard and Stanford MBAs with no work experience, they came in straight after bachelors, I think there is a trend to do an MBA when you are 24-25

I have met plenty of HBS students as well. And all of them had at least 3 years of post-undergrad experience or at least military service record. The median age of c/o 2015 was around 28. I also took classes there and did not notice anyone that young. I understand that I did not meet everyone at HBS, but what you are saying sounds very strange considering HBS's admission policy. The only thing I know that may prove your observation is the program that HBS has with Harvard college. I believe there is some sort of pipeline program if you are at Harvard and want to apply to HBS right after undergrad. So, although I do not discredit what you are saying, I can hardly believe that. On a side note, I am talking about US MBA candidates only. I do not know anything about the MBA application process for foreigners and what criteria Adcoms use for them.

sudhanya Dutta Idk about cost of living. But if your parents make less than $65k, then they wouldn’t be expected to contribute to your college fees at Harvard. Basically all you’ll have to pay is about $3000, which work-study usually should cover. Also, at Harvard all aid is “need-based.” There are no merit-based “scholarships.”
