Also , Marina . I have only one question . Really hope that you might answer me . You said that magister has more opportunities to get a financial aid . Now I am going to 11th grade and I am full of thoughts what should I do . You said that magister has more chances to get a financial aid comparing with bachelors . So , how do you think : should I get a bachelor degree in available universities in Europe and then go to study to USA to MBA or should I go to USA right now , when the probability of success is 20-30% ? Now I am preparing to the SAT and TOEFL , which I will pass in October . I will so much thank you if you answer me ! I could get your consultation , but problem is my finance and I have only one question . Please . Thank you .

+linguamarina ohh I see. But I have no idea where to apply for that opportunity award. Can you please enlighten me about the process of applying to that? Thanks and more power ☺
@lyn45367 жыл бұрын
+Portia Peleño you should search for the education usa office in your country because the program may vary between countries, at least in my country (Chile) you have to fill an application (very short about two pages) and just by doing that you enter to the opportunity award selection process. The requirements are that you obviously have a high level of English, excellent grades, being a participant of extracurricular activities or being a volunteer worker and show limited financial solvency . Selection Calendar (For process in Chile): november (2016) - january: application process january - february: evaluation february: interviews (in english) march: notification to selected students for the second step march: examen de competencia en inglés march: final selection (realizado por comité regional) april: beginning of the program Selected students calendar: Those students who have been selected are going to participate in activities including exam preparation, application essays etc. that will require 10 hours per week. Between april and december 2017 will be 3-4 week sessions per month, including: April - october 2017: Exam preparation, search and university selection July - September 2017: Taking TOEFL June / September / October 2017: Taking ACT o SAT October - December 2017: University applications November - December: Scolarship applications January - april 2018: Wait for results May - July 2018: Visa May - July 2018: Preparation to departure. What i found the coolest thing is that if you get into the program they´ll don´t just help you with the application process to the university, helping you with the Costs of international exams (TOEFL, SAT y/o ACT) and application fees but they will also cover your visa and your flight tickets (only departure) to USA. I hope this answer your questions. If not let me know!!

No free/full ride for American caucasian students with 4.0 GPA and 32 on ACT. The bar is set much higher, with international students competing for admission (and the rich ones parents' willing to pay full tuition) and the bulk of scholarships going to 4.4 GPA/ ultra high test scores plus compelling bar stories like first generation to college or overcoming extreme adversity and/or coming from an underrepresented ethnicity.
