My Diana Bandit .177 pistol is made in China and seems to be good quality for a sub 200$ pcp pistol. Great small varmit eradicating pistol. Accurate to 35 yards with the aftermarket but stock and AR style grip I put on it. Lol 😂 I installed a Lane regulator as well and smoothed out the power curve that all unregulated pcp’s have. So I guess it’s about a 300$ pistol with regulator and add another 75 for but stock…. Expensive hobby but I love it.

The next step up and pistols is $800-$1500. And they don’t shoot any more accurate than yours does. So yeah that is the best bang for the buck

A friend of mine that was a jeweler once told me something some people wanna pay 300 some people wanna pay 3000 he said his job was to figure out which one of them It was and then put them in the jewelry they needed. He did all custom stuff so he would sell the same $300 ring for 3000 and he could get away with it because it was custom-made window seconds I was only one made

Now we all see these companies charging 2000 3000 think about this. Look at the quality of Diana products that are made in China. Diana had no choice because they could not keep up with the quality or the pricing so the only option they had was to use those companies. The company is it snow peak they made the Artemis series they are no longer able to be sold in the US because of the contract with Diana but they are still sold everywhere else around the world. The thing is Snow peak makes the gun they make a profit then Diana receives the guns ships them out and they take a cut so what does the gun actually really cost if we were to buy it from the manufacturer $50 $40 because Diana hast to take a cut and then the online store selling the guns takes a cut. So now you see how cheaply guns are made. By FX their guns are made cheaply and sold very highly priced their barrels cost them five dollars to make a barrel. Day State. They are guns very cheap to manufacture also get the prices are extremely high why because that’s the niche they started them with. None of these guns should be over $1000 no matter who makes it. But you say it’s newer technology well not really they’ve been using the technology since the 90s but it’s just getting to be main stream now so they’re making it like you got a pay a ton of money to get a quality gun and that’s just not true we have a running game being played on us. Did you know F ask because of all their advertising and paying all these guys on KZbin to shoot their guns so people look up there and say I fax is got to be great that’s all I see people using. They have their own formula one team now all paid for either customers. And to top it off their impact shoots a 1.3 inch group at 100 yards and an avenger shoots .8 of an inch at 100 yards. So you tell me what’s the extra $900 for what are you paying for. Does it make any sense to buy that $2200 gun and then I have to put a barrel liner on it an outer barrel tensioner harmonic tuner. By the time you’re done you’re into it for over $3000. And then you go to a shooting range and a kid 15 years old sit down next to you and shoots a better group with a $400 gun. How would you feel pretty stupid if you just spent three grand because I would. You know when drag racing you have your sleeper cars they look like an average little nothing and then they were on a 10 second quarter mile. All these guns coming in from China now they are The sleepers . Most people looking for a gun they looking on a site and they say this one’s only 400 but this one’s 1800 so this one’s got to be much better because that one’s too cheap. But a lot of us know that is not the fact

I’m fairly new to air guns and you’re correct, you can’t watch YT air gun videos without thinking that if you don’t buy an FX gun then you have a less , accurate or quality of a gun. When was the red flag for me is you see all these people shooting the FX MKIII guns but you can only preorder them. So FX feeds their new guns to a select few to pump up the public and try to increase sales. It backfired with me and I canceled my FX preorder and purchased an RTI instead for less $. I agree with you that there’s some great Chinese guns coming out that’s probably killing FX, Daystate, etc. I love my AEA Challenger bullpup!
