Trust me, the worst that can happen is you fail the first few times and brush up on what you dont know. you never know if you dont try, trust me you got this

@@suprewicked_li3s902 I recommend looking for adult education centers near you. They will normally give you free classes & pay for your tests & practice tests. I also recommend test prep champions & the chemistry tutor I think is his name for KZbin studying. Specifically math.

@@suprewicked_li3s902 ofc!👌 I plan on making a yt vid on it…for a short answer though I took placement tests and just learned what I failed on them. The exact books I used was the GED prep book and TABE skills workbooks. You could also just take the GED and get a report back of areas you missed and watch videos and stuff to learn it. Honestly when I was in 11th grade I decided to get my GED. I could not stand the thought of staying in school ans wanted a fresh start. I waited until I turned 17 and signed up for the GED that friday 2 days after my BD. The following Tuesday and Thursday I passed my GED in 3 days. I also was able to leave school after getting my cert and went off to the Army. I now am studying chemical engineering after leaving the military and I couldn't be happier.

Thank you for this video. I have my ged and went on to get my bachelor of science degree, and so did my mom. My children were also homeschooled and my daughter is in the process of getting her ged and we are stressing the importance to our son of getting his. Congratulations to all those go have chosen. If you do not get the college ready score it’s ok, you can still go to uni and all the university will do is have you take some remedial classes. Congratulations everyone.

Ask your school if theirs an online program to do school before you do ged. GED is not as easy as it sounds I have many friends who are taking the ged depending on which state they have certain requirements like going to certain places to take test etc when you can just get your diploma doing online school work talk to your guidance counselor or any counselor at your school.

Little heads up guys: in some states - california being one - you dont need a GED to enter community college if you are 21 or older. i dropped out of hs, went to college of san mateo at 21, then transferred to ucla. but congrats on getting it done. dont stop there, because in 2024 a GED is pretty much meaningless. and dont stop an AA either. good luck. ganbatte

@AnitaMckean I’m going into a county law enforcement job. They do a very deep dive into the background and they actually verify the education so that’s not going to happen I’m going to be a deputy sheriff so I cant do that unfortunately

GED is just for science, English, math, and social studies, its a Highschool diploma equivalent. Cybersecurity would be something you’d have to take college classes for
