Can I just say - I SO APPRECIATE YOU AND YOUR CHANNEL AND YOUR STORY!!! I stumbled upon you because I was doing research on amenorrhea since I have just developed it (being a newbie bikini competitor). I appreciate your honesty and candor, your willingness and desire to help and share, and how authentic you desire to be. I lost mine due to undereating and too much cardio and I’ve decreased exercise and increased calories but I have gained weight which I didn’t want to happen. Idk what to do

"Neanderthal rock head shit" haha! Love it. I totally used to be MIT-level with my macronutrient ratio knowledge and percentages back in the day. I'm so appreciating your videos and sense of humor while I start to navigate though amenorrhea of 3+ months (which isn't that long but really want to start a family now so it's terrible timing). I literally left my corporate job a few months ago because it was terrible and a toxic work environment, and I'm so grateful I'm in the financial position to take a hiatus. Interestingly I was getting my period despite being super stressed out during my last six months at that company. I've have been significantly less stressed since leaving, so I'm a bit perplexed as all my blood work *appears* normal. I'm eating a lot (and well-balanced) for my size and activity level and will continue to do so. I'd been lifting weights 3x week for less than an hour (a lot less than I used to a couple years ago), but will probably stop completely to see if it helps. Will be going to the gyno soon to see if we can identify if there's something more serious going on, but I sure hope not!

It sounds like you've already taken steps toward decreasing stress! We don't want to believe that life stress is as important/detrimental to our health, but it really can not be overestimated. Blood work often appears normal in these cases, unfortunately. I am sending lots of good vibes to you and hope you get things going in the right direction soon! XO

Did you have a time period where you’d get a period, then not get one for 3-6months, get another period, then not get one for almost a year? Also, during the months you didn’t get one, did you feel like you would have symptoms similar to PMS, but no period would come that month? I’m struggling with that now. I have crazy hormones. I get bloated, cramp some, get tired, have insomnia, sore nipples, but then do not get my period that month.

do I need to wait for my blood tests to eat more and move less? because I dont know for a fact if I have HA but I just feel in my core that is the case.

@@nadinesyandhana1402 doing good , still all in, I got my period back a little over two months after starting my journey ,in January 1st. However, I haven’t had my period since then so still waiting :)

You should eat any and all foods that make you feel good, feel happy, and taste good too :)

Hello:) my blood tests are OK. What else can be the problem, if my hormones are actually good. I lost my period in September because of overtraining and eating too little. Since october I eat a lot and I decreased my excersice.

I do not take any supplements. I don't even take a multivitamin, haha. I do sprinkle Maca powder on my veggies sometimes because I like the taste. Maca is known to support healthy hormone function...but, I don't know how much it really helps.

when you grow up where people and your relative calling you nicknames associated of your weight and making up things in your mind of how you look could be a reason a for some failures in life and relationship. and now I'm at my fittest I feel light and confident, and now I have this problems? hahahahaha

Because trying to make up for being hurt by others by hurting yourself never works. Healing comes from truly valuing who you are deep inside, not manipulating your body. If you enjoy working out, great! But if it has become an obsession or you've become unhealthy and exhausted, it's time to realize that something has to change. Sending love :)
