How I got my Pioneer DDJ FLX 10 to work with Serato Dj Pro

Same issue I had when I got my FLX10 a month ago, the firmware needed to be updated from Pioneer DJ for my MacBook Air M1. I use it with both Serato DJ Suite and Rekordbox.

anyone have problems with audio clipping? I use the new ddj flx10 but when I use stems with my MacBook pro, it has audio dropouts. It doesn't do that with my S9

Same here, I can't get my songs to play, it loads up but when I try to play it nothing happens, is it because it's mp3?

There should be nothing wrong with using mp3s

Make sure at the top of the contoller you have the laptop set to where it's plugged in on the back of the contoller. If your usb c cord is plugged into the USB A side then the switches up top should be on "A". Make sure the switches on the bottom of the controller match the side of the cross fader. Make sure your faders, volume knobs and master volume is up. Also make sure your output cord is plugged in the master output and not line input.

That happened to me as well, there’s a “INT” on the screen right below or on the side of the wave deck. Press it and it should work.

I don’t have any Cutlag on Serato Mac M1 whenever I slide the crossfader to either side, each channel bleeds into the other, so I can’t cue a track without it coming thru the main output. Downloaded latest firmware/driver, set flx10 to Serato in Applications, channels still bleed, also have latest Serato version…any suggestions?

Make channels are assigned appropriately on the mixer section for the crossfader A and B. Hopefully, they aren't assigned on thru.

Ok I got major frustrations going on with my new FLX10, new HP Windows 11 laptop and new Wave 8 speakers 🔊 My Serato DJ Pro is not recognizing or communicating with my FLX10. I installed all drivers and firmware with the latest version of DJ Pro. Can any of you help me? I already have service requests in at Serato and Pioneer DJ.

@@DjemazingI figured out that connecting your controller is the last step after you install all the drivers. I had it connect way too early so now I think I have it figured out. My next question is I have an extensive music catalog in iTunes but I don’t think I’m able to transfer that catalog over to Serato? I’m also a paid subscriber to both BPM SUPREME and TIDAL but I’m only a few days into each of those subscriptions. I have to build my music library up on those two sites then transfer over to Serato DJ Pro and then I’ll be off to the races. Any advice you can offer to get my music files over to Serato would be highly appreciated. Thanks. DJ MOE 313

@moemorgan6690 put all your music into one folder location, you can still have them in separate folders but they should all be located in one area for ex: My Music folder. Then open serato and drag the music folder onto the icon "All" or click "All" and drag the folder to the music select area.

Just got mine in. I can get sound through the controller, when i push play on my laptop. None of the buttons do anything nor do the jog wheels do anything. Is this what you were experiencing?

Not sure never hit play to see if it would play. All I know is that it wouldn't connect. After updating firmware and drivers I had no problems.

Check for a firmware or software update on the site. If you're using a windows laptop you may need to download the drivers as well. If you're using virtualdj you'll have to configure it in the virtualdj sound setup settings

Im having a problem with my flx10 like audio distortion and jogwheel screen display not matching with the serato dj pro on laptop sometimes delay wavform and i have stop playing music on laptop but on jogwheel screen is still playing. Any idea about this? . Im using mbp 2017 with 16gb ram Thank you .

Change the lantency on serato, turn off wifi and close background apps
