How I got my PS5 30th Anniversary Bundle! (PLUS 7 PRE-ORDERING TIPS!)

I Got lucky AF. I’m keeping my pro bundle this was the only way I was buying a pro. I logged into my account like 45 mins early, then was put into an early queue. Then got to the front on that line, and then the line paused. Once sale went live I had a minute wait. Got in, then got out quickly.

I got into cue about 3.5 hours before launch. I had one window open on my desktop and one open on my iPad. After about 6 minutes I was able to enter the store and look around. None of the new stuff was available to order, but I was able to login and check my information and locate the new stuff. After a few minutes it dropped me back into a cue until 10:10 AM EST. At that time I was in the store with my iPad. I quickly dropped the PS5 Pro 30th into my cart and checked out ASAP. I didn't look at anything else to not waste any time. My heart was pounding and I was expecting the order to fail, but luckily it did not. A couple of minutes later I noticed my desktop browser had entered the store and the PS5 Pro 30th was still available. I was able to put it into my cart again, but I didn't buy it. I picked up a PS5 Pro for my kids. I should have bought some lottery tickets afterwards. The stars were definitely aligned in my favor that morning.

@@duffyanneal so 3 hrs it was huh. F%&* I thought there wouldn't be a queue since I did get into a small one the night before. Damn. So yeah you needed to be really close to finish in the first queue to get in. RIP. Most people who got the pro commented they got in also around the same time (less than 20 mins). WOW x2!? Haha nice dude. Yeah luckily you didn't because you could have only got one and if you tried to get more then they would have cancelled your order. Yuppp. Def got lucky and ENJOY that limited edition pro!

Congrats on the 30th Pro bundle!! When you got in the queue, did you refresh your browser(s) at all or did you just leave them be until they let you in the site??

@@tjart9893 Thanks dude! I did since that's what Jake (livestream guide) had recommended. But turns out that didn't matter though. I've read that the queue time you waited in line before the actual sale started mattered (and the amount of tabs to make sure you kept your place). Unfortunately I thought the only queue would start exactly at 7am (pst) and I also got into the previous one because I had checked but I was already a bit late since the bar didn't fill up all the way up before the queue paused. If it did though then you were first in line and then I could have got the Pro. But I'm still fine with the limited edition stuff, slim and the controllers.

For sure not the 30th anniversary limited edition pro PS5 but I've seen this bundle on target (if you Google search) which you can buy on October 10th. I'm not sure about the controllers yet but it's very likely because when the pre-orders went live, they were also available at some retailers. So keep an eye out the night before and see if you can order them or if there will also be a queue wherever you might try to buy it. Good luck!

I got early queue 15 minutes, but refreshing the page for 5 minutes did nothing. really though i shoulda stayed on that page, i got the slim bundle but that is going back up on pre-order anyways on the 10th.......I'm sad i couldn't get the 30th but it is what it is, sony fucked all of us by not giving us the same pre-order system they did japan.

Ahh yeah same here. I did hear that they're making more and that it's not limited like the pro. It's fine though, it was fun trying to go for the pro and I'm not sure if it will arrive sooner but at least it's from Sony. I agree with that system Japan made so actual fans could get it instead of people who are just trying to make a quick profit. Hopefully they do that for the next pre-order but we'll just have to wait and see.

I screwed up so bad. I got in a 10:13am EST and I couldn't find the 30th Pro on the website. I panicked and added the 30th slim and 30th Portal since I saw them on the main paged and checked out at 10:14am. I'm pretty sure the 30th Pros were NOT sold out yet at that time.

So F%#% unlucky dude. Rip.and in this case, if you had the direct links for the items ready then you would have gotten it for sure. But yeah, that was pretty early. Did you need to check the website more than 2 hours before the sale went live to get a good queue time? Did you also spam refresh the page? I did that and I swear I ruined my queue time by doing that (got in after 35 mins) and yeah, it looked like you were one of the first ones to get in because after 20 mins (which was when the last person from the first group checked out) then that's when they sold out for sure. But hopefully the tips towards the end helped and I know you won't be so unlucky next time preorders roll out. GOOD LUCK!

@@VeteranClash so i woke up at 7:30am EST and started spam refreshing the page on both my phones. At around 9:30am EST one phone gave me the message that "it's your turn" and the yellow bar was completely full, all the way until 10:13am EST when I a pop up appeared saying I was being redirectied to the playstation direct site..I went in, didn't see the 30th pro and ordered the slim instead. My second phone never got full bar untill 10:50am EST when it then said I had 59 minute wait. At 11:50am EST I got in on the second phone and was able to put the Portal and deal sense edge controller in my cart. I tried checking out and my credit card flagged the transaction for fraud (it kept saying my CCV was incorrect and I was confused for a minute) and a minute later sent me a text with the fraud stuff. I texted back saying it was me and went to check out again. By this time the dual sense edge was now sold out. So I checked out with just the portal at 11:52am EST. I have screen shots of all this so I know the exact times.

But yeah, I have heard people say that they didn't see it either so maybe they sold out or they didn't at that time and once you were in, you were safe to refresh as many times as you wanted. Ahh, the card fraud issue happened damn and they should have had no timer (max about 10mins + checkout) once you were in there since they knew people would have issues. Hopefully everything goes smoothly next time though, damn.

I don't know whether to say it is expensive or cheap, since the package is very complete, although the prices are usually beyond the ordinary.

Yeah the prices were higher than the regular Pro or other versions but with everything that was included and because it was "limited edition" it was still a good deal. It still is a lot of money to spend on a console when you could get a better PC or just anything else really but since I haven't owned a console since the Wii, I think it's time now to get a good memorable one.

It’s literally just a 40$ Upgrade to add … •Grey skin color on everything •Wire bag •Paperclip •Poster •Wire Cables Uhh think that’s it. For 40$ pretty good considering they sell 50$+ skins alone. So you save money if you were already going to buy a Ps5 pro with the edge controller and the charger. If not you could always resell the remote or whatever it’s all new. Get some money back.

@@hondaopportunity8107 yes they are! I was going for the pro but I got bad luck on the queue so I got that one instead. I also saved myself from the pain of trying to get them later on and looks like there may or may not be a queue as well for those retailers soon. Walmart and Target are just a few of them that have it posted already but their paid subscription service might get to preorder them first (Walmart does mention it). Anyways, if you haven't got one already good luck and follow the tips I gave in the video if you're going to try to get it on the 10th!

I always have a hard time logging in their website. Does anyone else experience this issue? It always makes me reset my password every time I try to log in. Never works properly

@@silentwolf1631 same here and no it's not just you. From what I've searched up (error codes) I think you might need to try incognito mode, delete your cookies, or try a new browser. But no it's been no help and I haven't found a way to get it to work. So it happens to not work for at least a month then randomly out of nowhere it works. But luckily it worked when I ordered my bundle and a few days before as well. I also just tried yesterday and it didn't work. I got the error code when entering my password and I think it might be like that for a while. Keep trying and good luck!

@@silentwolf1631 ahhh it's all good though. But yeah you should have definitely tried though. The key is just to be there early and try the day before to get everything set up (payment info etc.) but don't give up! This one will be restocked and selling on retailers TOMORROW! Make sure to check Target, and Walmart, plus others, just in case. Walmart has an early queue for their subscription members but I'm not sure about Target. Check the stores websites, get those direct links to the items you specifically want, open multiple tabs on different devices, look for helpful livestreams, info, etc. right now to make sure you can get one. They might start selling at the same time as they did two weeks ago (7am PST) so get there at least 2 hrs early, refresh the pages and GOOD LUCK!

They might in just a few days (10th) in retailers (walmart and target are going to sell the 30th anniversary slim bundle) and I'm going to check the official website just in case they decide to put up those 30th anniversary edition Pros that got removed from people's cart/order because of issues. @@devondeluna1841 yes that's true. Scalpers can only use so many addresses and they also can't keep going back to the nearest place to get more. But that second part is still a bad idea. I live in the suburbs and finding time to go place an order or just even wait in line, if that's the case, then you already know it's going to take even longer than just ordering online. So if you can't drive or don't have transportation to the exact store then it will take at least twice or four times as long. But yeah, online is way better and like I said, some system or security to prevent scalpers is all they really need.
