@amoshopson79232 жыл бұрын
@@StevenDoesStuff I got 2k on my actual pedal board. The Headrush digital processor and a MacBook with neural dsp replaced everything. I bring my guitar, processor, a laptop with a interface Velcro to it with a cable to plug into the mixer in one trip from the car and im playing. Setup takes 5 minutes. Screw having a board people either end up stepping on or spilling something on. Digital is where it’s at

Unfortunately, they still have yet to add plugins to the quad cortex so you'd have to play on a laptop if you want these tones live

Charlie's single coil: heavy compression, amp that almost crunches (boost gain a bit, or use an overdrive), EQ (boost 250 to thicken, cut 500 for boxiness & also cut 1k same amount, boost 2k, pull down 4k, raise 8k voor liveliness), reverb for a bit of room

Hey! Great video by the way. I have this plugin and Im having fun with it but I have a question. Im new to this digital plugin world and when I use all the pre amp pedals, If I turn the amp gain max as well and if I push slighly on any note on the fretboard there is this signal noise I guess its not that loud and its clean but is it supposed to be there? Is it from the gain of the pedals and the amp? So again, if I pick the note your wont hear it but if I just fret the note with a hammer on and hold it, its there.

Hey, quick question: How do you get set up for this? I have a focusrite scarlet, and plugging my guitar into it and running neural dsp my guitar is really noisy if I have any gain, and it’s not very sensitive (like I have to play really hard to get all my lead notes picked up, I ye not very responsive) I figure if anyone knew the answers to this it would be you, whatever have looked around but can’t find anything
@py0rt2 жыл бұрын
If you still haven't figured it out, make sure you've pressed the "INST" button on the input you're using. Also adjust your gain knob making sure that it stays green while you play. Make sure to select ASIO for your scarlett in audio device settings as well
@Strange_Logik2 жыл бұрын
@@py0rt when I do that, even on zero gain from the interface, it is absurdly noisy in a way that the gate doesn’t fix. Turn the tone into static basically
@py0rt2 жыл бұрын
@@Strange_Logik It doesn't do that on a normal amp? If it makes the static noise with another amp it might be something with the ground wire in your guitar.
@Strange_Logik2 жыл бұрын
@@py0rt don’t have a normal amp to check, but I doubt it. I listened to examples, and it seems to me like the signal is so close to the noise floor and neural is amplifying all of it somewhat equally. Is there something I should be doing to separate the signal from the noise floor?
@py0rt2 жыл бұрын
@@Strange_Logik What if you try to press the direct monitor button once without neural dsp open? That should play just your guitar through your speakers. This way we can figure out if it's a neural issue or a guitar/interface issue

Dumb question but how do you use these plugins as an amp
@afroditta69503 жыл бұрын
plug your guitar in your interface -> load the plugin in your preferred DAW or as a standalone (Neural DSPs can be standalones) -> output the sound on some decent studio monitors or headphones. Some plugins have only the amp part (you'll need cabinets or IRs to run with it), Neural has his own cabs besides amps.

Nah, it's just a jcm 800 simil an acoustic simulator and I don't know what the white amp is but it sounds good (something similar to an ac30 maybe), you can get a lot of tones no matters the name of the pluggin... I used the pink one in one of the guitars for a hard rock band track's and they loved it. The fact everyone sound exactly the same is the same reason every ACDC fan wanted to sound like angus, but now you can do it for $99 and it's ok bc this sound is completely reacheable digitally, but you can get much more of this or any pluggin
