How I got paid for my Super 8 Footage - Stock Photography Is Not Dead... Yet

Woolworths used my Super 8 footage for a 100 year Anniversary TV Ad. They originally wanted to use 5 clips but in the end bought only 3 clips and used 2 of them. The clips only play for about half a second. I had no idea what to charge so they said how about $300 per clip.
Anyway. I really didn't care what they paid me. Having my mother in the Ad was so exciting. It was really special. She passed away 17 years ago on the 8th December. I visited her on Sunday and it got me thinking why not make a video about my experience with Super 8 Stock footage and what I think about Stock Photography in general.

this was an awesome video Rob, i still have my super 8 camera was my dads from the 70s when i was a teen, my sister has all the reels, mostly taken in Spain during the 70's.
