With the release of Master Duel, of course we had to figure out a way to implement the traditional From Scratch series and it may be a lot more difficult than expected! No buying gems, No crafting and the heart of the cards. Can we still make it to Plat 1?

I have an idea for season 2. Master Duel From Scratch Season 2: Only Master Packs (and legacy packs). No crafting, no secret packs, obviously no spending money, only Master and Legacy packs. Think you can get to Plat 1 doing that? I think you can.

Btw, if you chained furious to apo and popped it, apo wouldnt be able to negate cuz it needs to resolve the atk reduction for its effect to work iirc . Has the "and if you do" clause. Also: Opp searches ash Ryan: I hope he doesnt have ash

Since you're 100 on the normal duel pass, you might as well buy it for 600 gems as it gives you 600 gems and then a few visual stuff like pets and backgrounds :0

(though you can actually reach Platinum 1 through sheer tenacity if you ask me) Now that that's done: What are you going to do with this account? What are you going to do with all the cards and crafting points you got? Honestly it feels rather regretful if this account would be scrapped just like that... maybe you can "renovate" it for future challenges? Either way, I'm looking forward for the next installments of whatever you're planning next, and thanks!

I loved this serie :) and now a Duel Links from scratch ^^ it will be way harder to get KoG without spending money ahah PS : I ask that because I love speed duel (love the concept and Vrains) and I would love to see Rev do this kind of serie. And there is no to little point to do this in real life, however it could be fun on Duel Links.

1:57 - 2:29 it the reason I am not finding master dual all that fun. I really wish there was GOAT format support or maybe an event where every non-forbidden card is limited to 1 per deck just to try and limit the power/number of extreme combo decks (I'm fully aware this wasn't even a big combo). I'm sure I'm not the only one who just starts and watches entire youtube videos while waiting for opponents to finish their first turn combo. I don't even pay attention to what cards they play, just check out the board at the start of my next turn. There's a lot of good about the game but we need more options for casual players!

"causal players" and you want GOAT format??? I guess there is more back and forth in GOAT but the games last forever and have the same issue as modern YuGiOh, top decks run the meta and are cursed to play against. Even worse in GOAT as the card pool is more limited and one of the best strategies is burn. If you hate eldritch, meet the original Have fun with motion cannon mirrors

@@colonelcider8292 I get your point. I guess Whatever format we have there will always be try-hards making rediculous stuff happen. Honestly I don't mind playing against eldlich, the turns usually are reasonably short and random meme decks sometimes have a chance. It's the 15 minutes long drytron, trihbrigade, and skystriker combos I hate.

@@AdamLinscott skystriker combo? it makes like 2 or 3 link 1's a turn... Striker doesn't combo, its a control deck. Only combo they have is accesscode climbing but with that its quite short and only done for game. I get what you are saying with eld having short turns but that is only turn 1. Set 5 pass but once you get to turn 2 and 3 eld turns become way longer as they'd have fuel in their gave. Eld isn't too bad to go against when they only draw deck specific cards but when they draw crap like Gozen, There can be only one, skill drain, IO, summon limit, etc. You basically have the draw the nuts or evenly matched to even have a shot. Tri-brigade turns don't even last that long. The issue with tri-brigade is that they have a lot of chains with adds a bit of time. Tribrigade as a deck is only annoying cause revolt gives them a body (and banish), a draw and refreshes the grave for their turn. Ban revolt and tri-brigade becomes a decent deck. I also hate combo decks which is why I prefer maxx c in the format as it basically ends their turn or gives you enough draws to out their board

I want Konami to do a sort of tournament support like they do with TCG and OCG. Say you win a tournament that is supported by konami and you win a good amount of gems. I don't know how they'll go about doing this but I see you being able to revise master duel from scratch if something like that was implanted. Not to mention it would give us players something to grind towards instead of only grinding this lackluster ranked ladder.

So Rez Yu-Gi-Oh Online did exist from Konami ages back. Yeah it sucked though but did exist. Master Duel is there second attempt at it although it took them over 10+ years to even try again considering how bad it was.

So next is Master Duel Challenge Mode right? Master Packs only, no secret packs allowed, no crafting allowed, no 750 gem starter bundles (Ash, Solemn, Storm). Luck point system that allows you to purchase one deck, purchase one of the bundles (Ash, Solemn, Storm), or craft a card. With a win requirement total alongside the luck point system?
