I can’t stand the scalpy look. I don’t want to see my scalp unless I part them which I don’t do; just separate. If I go to someone else to do my hair is just for a wash or assessment. Oil builds up and causes itching more than anything. Other than that “freedom” is my goal. Your locs are lovely. Subscribed!

An important thing to know about loc size is that it all depends on the density of your hair. You can have big parts and if your hair is fine in texture, your locs won't have as much volume and won't appear as thick no matter what you do. The beauty of the loc journey is to fall in love with your hair and accept it for what it is.
