I respect your efforts. I also was on the rumble grind with a sweat loadout on ttd, but after losing to the #2 ranked player in the world using anteaus fusion and him telling me to game end myself my sanity crumbled. I haven't had motivation to play since really, if that's whats at the top then I'll chill in the top 1000 instead, I'm glad you've found success and it was nice to hear someone voice similar pain points to my own.

I have never felt more personally called out than when you talked about GL spam in rumble. I have almost 2700 kills on my Memory Interdict, many of those from the two seasons where I was top 500 in rumble (this season I haven't played as much so I was only briefly top 1K). Great video.

I'm currently #454 and have been as high as ~300. I've used almost exclusively an EP, Moving Target Rose alongside Duality. This is generally paired with either Frosteez Strand or YAS. I agree with most of what is said in this video (especially about heavy GLs, they are game winningly strong and I should pay more attention to it than I do lol). If you load into Exodus Blue, put on an SMG - it is unwinnable otherwise. Kill clip Messenger on larger maps is ridiculously strong. Rumble is my favourite gamemode but it has some huge issues and certain loadouts can completely ruin a match. A lot of "on kill" weapons/perks become incredibly unfair in rumble. Sone examples would be: Ace of Spades, Cryosthesia, Trespasser, Kill clip. Fusions are also much worse because it is generally unreasonable to play around them as doing so requires you to slow down which is sort of the opposite of what you want to be doing. If theres one FR in the match then you should never play around it because 80% of the time it doesn't matter and dying is often faster than baiting out 2/3 fusion shots. You also never run out of fusion ammo with how fast paced everything is, they are basically primary weapons. Obviously Arc Titan with Anteus makes all of this much worse. SMGs are similarly crazy since you're pretty much always holding forward anyway. PK titan with immortal + shotgun is one of the best loadouts available. If you really want easy rumble wins, basically every map has a disgusting spawn farm - put on Ace or a sniper and it's nigh impossible to outkill. If, like me you find the idea of that unconscionable then you're basically just hoping no one else in the lobby does or that they're a bad enough player that it doesn't matter.

Aweseom vid. I can only imagine being this good lol. I have a question tho, about your subclass of choice. I have tried to make arc hunter work, and it doesnt seem to do anything for me. The melees feel weak with no oneshot potential (i present to you: knockout titan), the grenades are strong, but thats about it. I like the arcstaff super, gathering storm isnt half bad. But every other hunter class feels better (i havnt played around with stasis enough to form a proper opinion on that tho). On strand, i have insane movment paired with suspend. On solar, i have throwing knifes and on your mark, two extremely strong subclass abilities. On void, invisibility is one of the most broken abilities in the game, even after the radar nerf. If utilized properly, invis is so incredibly strong that it deserves its own full playstyle, similar to strand. But arc? Just feels weak and uninspired to me. Maybe im missing something? Care to explain why you chose to main it, at least for this challenge?

The slide melee is decently strong. Grenades are decent like you said. Amplified this season is reeeally good, 20 seconds of max speed + DR. In rumble you're basically never getting Arc Staff so Gathering Storm is fine now after the buffs - like a worse vortex nova bomb. It is definitely the weakest hunter subclass atm in my opinion but it's not exactly bad, just doesn't have anything crazy strong rn

As a Stompie hunter, I value classes that don't rely on me using my dodge unless it's to save my life. Solar, Void, and even Strand to an extent rely on a dodge to access much of the potential of those subclasses (On Your Mark, Invis, Suspend, etc), so I'm basically left with Arc or Stasis. I prefer Arc for rumble because Amplified DR + movement is insane, and the melee often wins close range "I'm trying not to die to whatever is in my face" battles.

@@KnownAsSys ok, so its good for stompee hunters. I dont particularly like stompees right now as i find that other exotics provide more of a helpful benefit for my playstyle than stompees. For example, my main exotic for over a year has been frostees. I dont use them in all my builds, but i like them in my strand build for sure. I was trying to pair arc with gemini gesters and basicaly setup a super melee where you dodge near an enemy, which removes their melee, and then you gain increased melee lunge and it makes a big damaging aftershock on the target. Unfortunately, this doesnt one shot melee, so i guess ill have to try something else. Maybe ill build into having amplified constantly up, and having more buffs while amplified.
