OMG! MY MOTHER WILL LOVE YOU FOR ADMITTING TO USING MAYONNAISE! SHE USED TO MAKE IT FROM SCRATCH AND USE IT ON MY SIBLINGS AND MY HAIR. She used to say, "Hair length has to do with what one consumes. If one eats healthy, drinks lots of water, massages the scalp, and exercises, the hair follicles, and hair strands will be healthy and strong, thus, the hair will grow long without breaking." However, what one puts on one's hair is contingent upon the texture of one's hair and whether or not the scalp can take it. I make my own hair and skin products because I cannot use grease. I wash my hair every two to three days in the week, do oil and scalp treatments two days a week, and let the shower run on it with conditioner the other remaining days. I have to wet my hair every day because my hair is much more manageable wet. I do take a multivitamin just because I have all of my life and I will never stop.

Not all the alcohols are bad for your hair. There are fatty alcohols which is good for your hair such as cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, cetearyl alcohol, lauryl. Everyone’s hair and scalp is different, so saying stay away from sulfates is not correct. I had major scalp buildup from co washing and using sulfate free shampoos. Now my hair is in a much healthier state since using a sulfate shampoo on a weekly basis. Some people can get away without using sulfates and some people can’t.
@TheTiaraMakia6 жыл бұрын
Like I said this is what works for me! But thank you for sharing what also works for you. There's always an exception!
@teshamiller60015 жыл бұрын
Sulfates are not necessary to remove build up. I mean if ppl like them that's their business, just pointing out that buildup can be removed without them and she mentioned a way to do so in the video💁
@SL-fu7sh5 жыл бұрын
You clearly are the exception but in general most black hair should not use sulphates just like she said. Saying she’s incorrect is not true. She is speaking in general and what works for her. These are her tips. She constantly says everyone’s hair is different so why make it about you. But thank you for sharing anyway.

Depends on what all your beautician is doing to your hair. It has never been necessary for me to go to one very ofter, but I know many people who do. Do you blow dry your hair after each was or air dry over night???
@TheTiaraMakia6 жыл бұрын
If I do a wash n go I usually wash my hair in the morning and let it air dry throughout the day. I only let it dry over night if I do a twist or braid out or something that has to set. And I hardly use a dryer!

Do I put it in for thirty minutes and then wash it out or can I leave it in?

Thank you love! If you can start implementing some of the tips I shared in this video you may see some improvement. Maybe see a local stylist to get some tips and have them assess the current condition of your hair!
