How I healed my dog’s pancreatitis NATURALLY 🙏

Fin’s Pancreatitis Protocol:
✔️ Raw (or gently) cooked food with no vitamin synthetic packs (as they can be harder for dogs to digest)
✔️ Must be a lower carb, higher protein food with COOLING proteins
✔️ I currently have Fin on @vivarawpets Rabbit & Duck because they’re a bit lower fat, NO vitamin synthetic packs, lower carb & sourced responsibly (NOT sponsored, I bought the food myself but you can use code: FUSARO to save - find them on my dog food in my bio)
✔️ Fin does best on a primarily raw diet, & because it’s not overly processed, it’s easier for him to digest & absorb the needed enzymes from the food to naturally break down fats - which is KEY to healing is gut (not just masking symptoms)
✔️ For dogs NOT used to raw, I’d personally choose a gently cooked food to start (@evermorepetfood or @raisedrightpets ) then if possible, transition slow to a premium raw (again that’s my personal opinion). If I HAD to feed a kibble, I’d pick @carna4_pet in this situation because they do not have vitamin synthetic packs which again, can be harder to digest.
✔️ We’re following the @adoredbeastapothecary leaky gut protocol because of their potent digestive enzyme (which is soooo important for gut health issues). It also includes pre AND probiotics specifically designed for gut wellness. It’s extremely well sourced (again, not sponsored, but this specific protocol is on my SHOP page - link in bio)
✔️ @cbddoghealth for supportive care (I did NOT give any antibiotics, as CBD helped with discomfort & aided in reducing inflammation)
✔️ He eats his food at room temperature, 2 meals a dog and I use a slow feeder or hand feed to ensure he doesn’t eat too fast (eating TOO fast can lead to swallowing air, which can cause gas, belching or tummy upset)

We lost our beloved 12 year old Wire Fox Terrier to pancreatitis a couple of years ago despite being very careful with his diet. I wish we had found this kind of info prior.

My dog was just diagnosed with pancreatitis as well. The vet wanted to inject him Panoquell. I didn't let him do it when I saw all the side effects including ( anorexia, digestive tract disorders, respiratory tract disorders, hepatopathy, and jaundice). Please research before you let any "doc" tell you what's right for your dog.

Another thing that works wonders is ancestral supplements (for humans). The living bone with bone Marrow supplements and the pancreas/intestines and a few other ones they sell. Expensive as hell but worth every penny. I had 2dogs with that issue and it’s resolved completely very very quickly. They are glandular supplements for humans but works wonders for dogs.

Yes, Ancestral Supplements is the real deal! Their trachea supplement save my dog’s trachea that was collapsing. Now my newest and youngest dog has pancreatitis, and I am treating her with their pancreas supp.

A friend of mine talk to a vet who said she was an integrated vet. That she did both conventional and holistic medicine. She gave my friend all kinds of great information on Raw feeding. But then, when my friend asked for recommendations of a good quality kibble for Travel or times when they could not feed Raw, she said Royal Canaan. Are you kidding me!? She's still brainwashed.

My dog had kidney failure & I switched her to a grain free diet, which the vet didn't recommend I looked up veggies she couldn't eat & broccoli one that she loved but couldn't eat now & her kidney function improved & didn't need urine tests & had been down to %. I gave her Wild & free bison, venison, potatoes & peas. It worked for her.

I follow some holistic vets and enzymes were recommended to put on a fresh food and allow to sit for at least 20 mins or more for each meal,I also use milk thistle and turmeric ...he slowly regaining his weight back

My dog has had pancreatitis symptoms for 2 weeks. We have tried all the foods to get him to eat. Prescription canned food Low fat dry food Plain Cooked Chicken Chicken Broth Yogurt The only thing he will sorta eat now is cottage cheese. We are not seeing improvement, we hate seeing him in so much discomfort. **UPDATE: He was hospitalized for a week and given IV medication. Found out he has stomach cancer and Prednisone is the only thing that has helped him. Changed his diet to sensitive stomach Hills. We are keeping him comfortable.

I am in the same situation. I don’t think regular vets know how to handle this very well. I think I want to try her regimen. I gutted it will be worth a try because what the vet has prescribed hasn’t worked at all.

Try hepatic diet smaller protion and try fasting your dog. Try intermittent fasting

My boxer has pancreatitis we discovered it about 2 years ago and our vet told us to keep her on kibble but low fat for stomach issues and it helped some but she would still have flair upps every 2 months or so and we ended up taking to a friend who cooks for her dog who also had pancreatitis and she came to our home and showed us how to cook for her and she has only ever had a couple of times in 2 years that she has had a flair up and it wasn’t anything compared to what she went through before she started eating homemade meals!

Thank you for sharing " what works for you and your fut baby. Its MUCH BETTER ADVICE then what Ive bern given BY VETS since my dog was recently diagnosed with Pancreatitis. MUCH APPRECIATED 🙏💓. However, i must say that my dog was coming along well , giving him home cooked chicken and chicken Broth, but i started to give him CBD Oil again. Within 2 days he was down fir the count. Today, I am going to let him rest. Giving the pancreas 12 hours for inflammation to come down( more like 24 since he hasnt eaten since last night). He has diarrhea so i will give him anti-diarrhea med. Omeprazole for nausea too. Small amont of chicken broth to help with the bad taste of meds. PRAYING HELP US ALOT!

Trying the brand chi dog for my dog they have one for dogs with diabetes! They seem excellent will keep you post. My dog has pancreatitis and onset of diabetes and I’m pretty sure it’s due to the kibble..

Hi Rachel! My dog has problems with lipids in his eyes that’s why he was also recommended the same food that your Vet recommended to yours( he has some allergies to chicken, too). I was going to switch to Ollie or Farmers Dog but when l emailed them ( very prompt response). They told me they don’t have anything with less than 12% fat. I don’t know what to do. Same with Spot and Tango. The other kibbles you recomendas as Carna4 , they are also high in fat. Besides raw, do you have any other recommendation that can help my baby, please since your has pancreatitis? 🙏

Girl just listen to your vet. This woman has no idea what she's talking about. She's a human nutritionist with no medical background. Her videos are full of affiliate links that she makes money off from advertising pet food, and she conveniently removes all responsibility by having a disclaimer that "what may work for my dog won't work for your dog." Are you really gonna put the life of your dog on the hands of some youtuber over your veterinarian?

I think my dog may have this. Did you dog do constant licking? My dog after eating or excited licks the air intensity and won’t stop unless I distract him with treats but will go right back to it.

My lab/hound mix does this when her stomach is feeling upset. Not really anything bad but she gets anxious when she feels sick so she’ll walk around licking everything and licking the air. If we can comfort her before she gets too anxious she won’t throw up. She’s unfortunately just wired to be a little anxious. My other dog that is prone to pancreatitis will more so lick her paws, stop eating and keep to herself. The only thing that helped her was keeping her on a diet with less than 12% fat. She hasn’t had a flare up in 4+ years.
