I tried just farmers dog but her poop turned green i just can’t seem to help her we did figure out she can’t eat to much of anything and definitely not cows milk her kibble is Nutri source. I’ll try giving her probiotics sometimes but feel like it doesn’t help and try not give to much goats milk she hates pumpkin.

I am the favorite human of a friend's Aussie. The owner gives kibble every day. This dog reluctantly eats some....and eventually all of it. I feed the dog grass fed beef, the same thing I eat. The dog eats right away and finishes the entire bowl. I am the favorite for several other reasons also...but I suspect the food is a big one. This dog is not treated poorly at home by any means.....but she whimpers and rubs her head right into mine and just loves me when I show up. She's the best dog ever....I love her right back.

When we got our first puppy we had her on Purina beniful puppy and she would have watery diarrhea and she had that for about a month or two. We went to the vet like 5 time and got antibiotics and she had like 400mg of antibiotics by 4 months and it just wasn't getting better so we switched to a different kibble still wasn't better but the day we switched to fresh it was perfect so now we do half open farm good bowl and half ollie fresh and that work well. Since going raw with my 2 large pit mixes, they barely drink water, their poop is so much smaller and they are very healthy. I always buy their meat half price and stock up in my freezer. I started by adding different things to their kibble, then I went to fully cooking their meals and now I’m fully raw. I have a spreadsheet I purchased which guides me in making sure they are getting all of their nutrients..never going back to kibble!

I wanted to feed my dog raw, but he can’t have chicken or peas which put limits on what’s available to me where I live. He’s also incredibly picky so after trying to get him on a raw diet for months, I gave in and went back to kibble since he would eat that consistently. I also found some success with dehydrated raw and adding veggies in regularly. Thankful for videos like this that help give more ideas on how to bring fresh options to kibble.

My frenchie has very bad allergies. I just took him to the vet. They told me to switch his food to a brand you had reviewed as not good. I don’t know what to do 😭 I have him on carva1 and K9 wet food which are all good clean and protein based. They want me to give him hydrolyzed dog food Royal Canine I’m so worried about it. Please help me to chose a better healthier choice please 🙏🏼
@GoldthecatАй бұрын
My vet told me the same thing for my golden with allergies. I don’t like that the purina hydrolyzed is so high in carbs and low in protein so I said I wouldn’t feed it to him. I think his allergies are a mix of bad genetics + inflammation from the kibble he was on for 5 years. Right now I am doing an elimination diet, and his current food is Dr Harvey’s Paradigm base mix + store bought meat. I like base mixes because they are just dried vegetables and vitamins and you can choose the oil and meat to add. I make his meals up a month in advance and freeze them in Tupperware, then thaw them for a day in the fridge.

@@Catia24311 I put chicken thighs in a pot. Cover the chicken with cold water. Use medium heat on stove. Do not cover the pot. When the water starts to boil, I time for eight minutes. Depending on the size of the chicken, that should be enough. After cutting the meat off the bones, put the bones back in the water. Let simmer for at least two hours, more if you want a more reduced liquid. I add the bone broth to whatever the cats are eating. Use within 3 days. Hey everyone I really feel like I need some help here. My dog is a Chihuahua mix and is 12 years old. Last year is vet believes he was having some pancreas issues so we switched him to royal canin low fat gastrointestinal and recently added purina fortiflora to help his stomach but I’d like for him to eat a more balanced diet. However I’ve been afraid to adjust his food too much and want to avoid upsetting his pancreas. I will be adding open farm bone broth to increase his hydration but other than that does anyone have any tips or suggestions? His vet hasn’t been super helpful so I would be open to switching as well. We live northwest of Atlanta if anyone knows a good vet in the area. Thanks again Rachel for the great video and advice!

What the heck are we talking about kibble for and trying to beef it up a bit??? I thought everyone realized it was pure poison for your pet? And you say on a budget. Well if you buy the packet junk you personally promoting it will work out more expensive . Average about $25 for 5 0z (142g). That is insanely more than fresh meat and bone! And you say replace 10% kibble for healthy stuff = 90% of poison. Don't get it. Will not be visiting this channel again for sure. I need people that have healthy minds and research accurate information and don't suddenly change their mind to make a buck on their website. I hope other people can see through your transparency.
