How I Helped Her Pass the Real Driving Test (FIRST ATTEMPT)

Witness crucial mistakes often seen in the real driving test. This blunder could spell disaster during the actual driving test because reversing traffic always gives way. My unconventional tuition method helped her pass her driving assessment the next day at the Success Test Centre.
Additionally to what happened during the Exercise Left Something Behind, she acknowledged being oblivious to the approaching vehicle but gained valuable insight from reviewing this footage after the practice run.
The driver in this video had a valid international driver's licence on the day of recording. This preparation method for a driving test can be helpful for overseas licence holders as they can witness their mistakes by watching their performance on the video. The lack of frequent observation could be an instant discontinuation in the real driving test.

From licensing office, Cowes St turned left to round about and then left again to Clayton St. (Should mention that in between Railway parade and Lloyd st. Should not block the Way. To Lloyd St. Pass traffic light, Left turn to the crecent and right to Mellar crecent straight to Sampson Cl, turn left to templeman Pl then turn right to Cooper Street STOP and turn right to Morison Road and directly left to Hamersley Street. From Mellar Crecent Approaching Sampson Cl, you can't see the intersection road. From Cooper St. Turning right to Morison Road, I was not aware of this area that there is an island. I failed today, for I did not stop into the island and did not see the car approaching from the left. Wish you make a video of this path.

Hi Steve, I've booked my test down at Geraldton for the faster test date and have practiced with the instructors down there. They reckon I'm ready for my test and I have the test on the 20th of this month. Is it normal to doubt yourself even though the driving instructor tells you that you're ready? I'm feeling confident but as the days go by I'm feeling more and more anxious, would it be a good idea to pay for more lessons a week before the test?

Yes, it's very normal because you care about results. I always recommend practising as much as possible especially a few days before the test. Good luck and let me know how you go.

@@DrivingSchoolWA I've passed the first attempt and I now have my provisional license! Thank you so much for uploading these videos, it helped me a lot when it came to studying by myself and practice in the car while it was off haha! I was nervous but the assessor was really nice and we ending up talking about Uber eats for 30-35 minutes straight until I realised I was finished. I only had 1 minor and the rest was smooth! Thank you again Steve! I'll recommend your channel to my other friends who are serious when it comes to practising before the test!

Hi. I have three questions not regarding to the video. 1. Do driving test examiners decide their fees? 2. If the speed limit is 40 km/h. If I accidentally over 43 in less than 5 seconds. Was that marked fail or immediately fail? And there were no other mistakes during the test. Was the student failed? 3. I heard before they was an MVR staff going with the examiner in the test and now there is only examiner with the test taker. In small town has only one examiner, is it fair if we have no choice has to book her again and again for the test.

1. If you're talking about assessors, it's all the same fee and depending where you are taking your test. But it all should be the same price, it'll continue to rise up like it has from when my friend took it, it was around $80, but when I took it, I paid $114. 2. From what I can tell you out of my own personal experience is that going over the speed limit is a minor mark, if you repeat it though, you might be failed and asked to go back to the DOT centre. 3. I took my test in the small town "Geraldton" and it had 3 assessors on stand by. So more often than not, there'll be another assessor but you don't get to decide who you go with. In most cases, you'll get the same assessor in a small town and it's fair. They want you to pass, the thing that helped me was thinking. "They're only there to see if you can drive normally and safely alone". That's it.

Question. I thought we are not suppose to pull over near an intersection? Isn’t that an intersection where she pull over her car? Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks 😁

It was a poor choice, but according to the test criteria, it's not illegal to park there. I would never park that close to an intersection unless the place is congested (for example, West Perth). By the way, we teach to keep away from intersections regardless of which side they are on.
