Thank you so much for sharing how you do real life while homeschooling. I needed to hear this and now know I can do it too. I also love the Charlotte Mason way of learning. I used to be a homemaker who only homeschooled and didn’t work, until my husband lost his job and never got back to the same pay scale he was at. Now I have to work, so I’m thankful to hear that I can continue to homeschool while keeping my job. Thanks so much and I wish you the best as well! 🙏🏼💕

Interesting! So the older children look after the younger children during the day?

I have 6 kids, 3 public school graduates and one in high school and homeschooling the 2 youngest. I work full time running a business. We just finished our 2nd year homeschooling. It has been hard finding the right balance of getting it all done and me not losing my mind lol. I thought about sending my girls back to public school but they begged me not to do it, so I told them they have to do their part and be responsible for their work (especially the older girl). I’m trying to come up with a way for her to make sure her work gets done consistently.

Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I currently have 6 kids and work from home. Circumstances could change. I can't figure out what my life would look like working full-time out of the home and homeschooling but we are both committed to making it work if it comes to that. So yes, I have a few questions. lol How do mealtimes work? Do you fix all the food before you leave or do they make things themselves? Are they 100% self-sufficient, or do you have another adult that stays with them? Who takes care of the littles? My kids do a great job taking care of each other and they're fairly self-sufficient, although I have several with learning disabilities who need A LOT of my attention and help daily. Do your kids have a loose schedule they follow? Sorry I have so many questions. I'm honestly trying to figure out how to make all of this work if it comes to it. I'm glad you're making videos again. You were missed.

How do you teach your children to be independent and responsible while you are out working?
