As an Ex Aussie soldier I worked with the Kiwi's quite often, they are absolute warriors and because of their small population they are cross trained in different fields unlike most army units that specialise in one field of work. Highly trained professionals, can't say anything negative about them at all. It was an honour to serve along side them.

He's right about the gear and food in the NZ Army. I served about the same time and it was rubbish. The gear at least is much better now, I dont know about the food.
