Teddy Roosevelt's quote that Comparison is a thief to joy is so fitting. I find that not comparing myself and what I have to other people or being concerned with what other people think or say about my choices and life are keys to being comfortable happy and satisfied with me. I do care what respected friends and family think to an extent but strangers, acquaintances and the like I pay zero attention to. It is very freeing once I could do it consistently.

Really like the last one "embrace enough". I also still struggle with this one sometimes, but it's not as bad as it used to be. I get a lot of satisfaction out of using the things I already own, and I find that the older the thing is, the more I appreciate it. My mirrorless camera is close to 10 years old now and still works well. My laptop is close to 8 years old now. They are like long-time companions at this point, and I don't feel the need to replace them unless they truly break down and cannot be repaired.

2019-2022 were my years of Minimalism. And then I moved back to my parents home. The stress and anxiety made me need more stuff. And then I started accumulating things I don’t need, duplicating just in case I loose one. Now I’m at a point where I want to go back being a minimalist. Hopefully by end of 2023, I can finally declutter my home and keep things minimal ✨

Moving stresses me out, so not owning a lot of things makes it much easier. I don’t have seasonal or monthly cleanings, I just keep everything generally decluttered.

I've just recently discovered your channel (3 days ago), and even though I'm 17 and can't yet apply most of the principles you discuss, I enjoy the calm, clean ambiance your videos foster. Playing your videos in the background helps me feel more at peace and connected to my inner self. Your videos are like a meditative experience. I've found myself more productive and organized. Thank you, Nicholas!

There are so many takeaways from this video!! Organizing both our physical and digital spaces is essential to living a minimalist lifestyle. I keep in mind that putting something back in its correct space right away when I use it and doing the 5-second rule when I have to do something I often procrastinate. I don't like doing the dishes and other house chores but once I start they are usually completed before I even realize it. Also, creating the burner email is informative for me because hundreds of emails arrive in my email box every single day but most of them are not interesting to me. Your tips will help me to make my space organized and clutter-free. Thank you!

I also function better in a clutter-free environment. It makes creativity much easier in a minimalist space. Fantastic video as always! I especially resonated with your point on the 5 second rule. I’ve been implementing a similar principle this year and it has been a big help with daily tasks.

No joke, was trying to predict what you would say to click the like button and I though "give the like button a ninja kick." Pretty close. I try very hard not to do chores on the weekend. Chores like laundry, groceries, batch cooking are all during the week. Friday night I reset my apartment after work. I dust, do a bit of batch cooking, dump trash/compost/recycling and vacuum so I am all set for the weekend.

Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life; no-one comes to God except through Me (John 14:6). Jesus wants you to to cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Only by repenting of sin and trusting in Jesus to guide your life are you spiritually safe for all eternity. I encourage you to prayerfully read The Holy Bible.

@@spirituallysafe Those who say, “Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary,” have certainly fallen into disbelief. The Messiah himself said, “O Children of Israel! Worship Allah-my Lord and your Lord.” Whoever associates others with Allah in worship will surely be forbidden Paradise by Allah. Their home will be the Fire. And the wrongdoers will have no helpers. [Surah Al-Ma’idah; 5:72] Going a little farther, he (Jesus) fell with his face to the ground and prayed... [Matthew 26:39]

@@goktugharta I am 55 and have researched much over the years with a VERY open mind. Christ is the only truth. Only He died for everyone's sins, rose from the grave and is seated in heaven forever waiting for His people to join Him one day. He totally changed my entire life for the better. Why would I ever even consider to follow another?!
