It works, I already do this exact method, except when Im done working out, I try to immediately let my stocking breath but stay wrapped; this method keeps your hair straight and molded, it won't be first day perfect, but you can maintain.
@leaveittolay3 жыл бұрын
Exactly! Nothing like the first day but if I can at least keep it straight for longer than that I’m happy !
@scarlettryan51502 жыл бұрын
How long do you let it stay molded after your workout, before brushing it down?
@GabrielleWhite2 жыл бұрын
@@scarlettryan5150 great question.. my roots curl up (*puff up) and my hair gets progressively thicker and harder to wrap over the week the more I workout.. it's frustrating.

It also helps when your hair is heat trained too

My scalp wet my wrap completely in the circle 😂 its back curly with straight ends. I had mid back length relaxed hair and was looking forward to going natural when I saw you could have it straight without chemicals as well. Well I'm not able to have it like that but my natural hair is gorgeous so I'm still happy with my choice
@AbsFabbs2 жыл бұрын
Try parting your hair down the middle and put into two tight pony tails. Wrap a bandana around your edges. Let you hair dry before taking it down. This works best for me. I sweat like an animal so a wrap never works for me either.

😂😂 But as long as you’re happy that’s what matters! ❤️

What do you put on your scalp on a silk press style, on a daily or twice a week basis?
@leaveittolay4 ай бұрын
I usually don’t put any oils in my hair when I have a silk press. My hair naturally makes oils so adding additional oil just weighs it down and makes my hair super greasy. If you are looking for a light oil though Mielle Organics has one in the Rosemary Mint line. It may be a better option than other types so it doesn’t weigh down the hair as much when it’s straight.
