I will have my surgery as well this coming end of the month. I was researching all guides for before and post op. I hope I can learn for everyone. I have GERD and hiatus hernia which my doctor advised to do the surgery as soon as possible. Having anxiety at the moment.

I had Nissen fundoplication done on may 1st this year and it only lasted 6 months and now symptoms are back so getting investigated again 🤦‍♂️

It did work long term. I’m one year post op and I’m completely normal other than not being able to throw up

@@hollykaluba4673 I did the surgery in January. Best decision ever. I couldn't even drink water prior to surgery without getting reflux. I'm normal too and also don't think I can throw up. Thanks for replying. All the best to you 🤍
