I am now going through what Dawoud had gone through, the phase where I have given up to find someone, as I had been getting to know men for these few years, been going out on dates, and eventually, I couldn't seem to find the right person for me. But what I have learnt is that, through the experiences over the years, I am certain on what I wanted in a man, and what I do not want. And I too, have a list of boxes for men to tick off, that way I wouldn't have to waste my time or the men's time to get to know each other when I know the relationship won't work in the long run. However, not just I have given up, I am now okay if anything happens or if nothing happens, meaning to say, I pray to Allah swt that, if I am not meant to be with anyone in this duniya, please don't let any men come closer, at the same time, if there is someone is destined for me, brings him closer to me. USA; Women’s watch; for the video, I LOVED it! I can relate because as a muslim I do believe in Sabr because Allah has everything written out for you but im 27 and everyone I know is married and with children or getting married this year and i’m here thinking “im close to 30 and no one will look at me then”. I get frustrated. I wish I had a story like yours or just ‘my’ story but I lost hope in finding someone. I love looking at videos like these as they are so cute to learn everyones ‘fairytale’ of “how we met”. I hope one day I can have a story too but for now I just pray. Dawoud meeting Jasmine for the first time and feeling that instant click reminds me of the concept of "soulmates" but in a islamic way. It explains as two souls already knowing each other in the realm of souls. Of course it doesn't necessarily mean that it has to be your partner, it could be your mother, friend or just anyone in your life (maybe you have never met them yet). Hi! loved the video so much! So first, i live in UAE and Im interested in the woman's watch. This video came in a really important timing for me personally and i want to thank you guys for opening up and discussing topics like this. I've never been in a relationship unlike most people I know and I always felt like that was a disadvantage because I felt like i wouldn't know what I wanted in a person. But hearing Jasmine share her experience and you guys talking about how that isn't always necessarily what i'm meant to go through was very helpful and reassuring. Salam :) So I am interested in the mens watch, cuz I want to gift it to my father. Honestly speaking, he has always been there for me, my ups and downs, my accomplishments, and my failures. I can never pay him back, but this watch would be a little gift in comparison to the things he has done for my siblings and I. He has wanted a watch, but for some reason never came around to get one. I'm from the United States and interested in the women's watch. I really appreciated Dawoud sharing his personal journey and the experiences he had to go through in order to make a more informed decision in the future. Watching you two makes me think back to my parents who had an arranged marriage. Neither of them had seriously considered marrying other individuals before they met each other. Both got a say in whether they felt they were compatible, but the meeting was arranged by the respective families. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding the initial meeting, relationships and marriage require work, and we have to choose to show up every single day and be present. I appreciate how genuine the two of you were with each other and the fact that your relationship is based on mutual trust and consideration. Relationships characterized by manipulation can't bear good fruit. I wish the two of you a lifetime of companionship together!
