@@fateemazahra4406 thats not the islamic way normally u should have a third person with them like ur parent or a sibling so nothing happens, or normally the third person is shaytan if they are alone. Even texting in a flirty way is not allowed cuz it can mess with u and ur intention. If your intention is right then u try to do it the halal way which is having a third persona in the room where u can personally know the opposite gender. Mans biggest weakness is woman so anything could go down as shaytan is there so its to protect them both. This applies to everyone so everything happens the right way. Although we are of different faiths, I am a Christian, our ideals and values on marriage are exactly the same. I'm not interested at all in short term relationships with "boys" and I personally don't see a point in a trial and error lifestyle. It's a waste of time and I don't have the energy of 2 years of happiness turning into heartbreak, and then me crying for months. I don't have the energy for that. And I also agree on courting, bc as Christians and for me personally, I will also set boundaries. We both have to have the same level of understanding. No physical touching...although that might be the hardest for me bc I'm a touchy person. Not in a sexual sense, but I love hugging and holding hands and cuddling with people dear to me...so that may be difficult 😅
@hibaaa4904 жыл бұрын
Lillian Supo Adekola yeahhhhh! I’m a Muslim and I feel like there’s no point of dating if you aren’t sure that you will get married to the person. Like what’s the point lmao. In Islam, there is halal courtship. They mentioned it in the video. It’s getting to know somebody which you could potentially marry. It isn’t dating, its more of having a close friendship with sm1 who is in the list of ppl you might marry. You aren’t aloud to be too touchy but I think ur allowed to hug. (Btw I’m not sure if you can do halal courtship with many ppl).

To me, "dating " doesn't include physical touching. Why would I want someone touch me that I'm just now getting to know and determine if they are the one for me? That's weird. Hello Amy these are frequently used arabic terminology across muslim community all over the world. "Assalamu Alaikum" means "peace upon you" in reply "Walaikumus Salam" means "peace upon you as well". InshAllah means "Allah (God) willing, "Alhamdulillah" means "thanks Allah(God)", "MashAllah" means "Allah (God) has willed or wanted" as an appreciation, recognition or admiration of anything it can be an event, or a person has done something good or achieved something etc, "Sukran" means "thank you" , "Afwan" means "welcome", "Salam" means "peace". Hope that helps you! Salam from Beautiful British Columbia!!!

i love halal dating. western dating sucks, by the time the girl or boy find their soul mates, they've slept with half of the city.
@lisaariottiart2 жыл бұрын
I Agree. It's soul crushing and sinful. Society keep promoting raunch culture which is destroying the purity of women.

I find these videos so interesting. Non-halal dating is so commonly represented in media and though it seems appealing and fun, as a Muslim these videos teach me what I should expect from halal relationships and "dating" based on Islam because that's what I'm required to do.

@Ra-03044 жыл бұрын
Abby Zhr Maybe you are right! I thought its the opposite because from what I’ve observed Jasmine is reserved and Dawoud is shy. Both types can be shy and reserved but the INFJ more since its introvert so yes maybe Dawoud is the INFJ one!.

Y’all are so cute🥺 I just started watching your videos and I can’t stop I really like the fact that you are sharing all this with us, it’s really nerve wracking to think about how “dating” would work as a Muslim cos it’s so difficult in this day and age to think about how you’re gonna put yourself out there and not attract the wrong kind of attention. I pray you stay happy always❤️

Just want to make it clear if there are teenagers watching :)) Jasmine&Dawoud could ‘date’ like that without a 3rd trustable person with them. But don’t try that if you are a teenager. Have a 3rd trustable family member (preferably) and don’t get in a car. Gives me anxiety of what might happen. Don’t trust too much okaies?

The thing is in Moroccan culture we also have our nikkah way before the wedding we do this during the engagement party. But we are not allowed to go on holiday together or spend the night or whatever. We only do this so it’s easier for the couples to fix everything together like the apartment/house, the wedding... we only live together after the walima (wedding day).

@@alikachmar137 no i didn't mean curse word, but you know they used it in the context of the people that date for no purpose and that is why i understood it to be used for casual relations something like lovey dovey in english haha
