I laced it the same way with the lace lock but instead of putting the laces in last two eyelets , I tie it behind the tongue and hide it while I’m wearing to give it that low-key feel. It gives it a cleaner look if you don’t want the laces hanging out of the eyelets.

its been 3 years @jedstahh but instead of tying them behind you can follow his way of leaving them out and then loop it through the other eyelets in the top two rows (4 essentially). the lace ends just about end inward of the shoe

I’m 35yrs old and barely just got my first pair of 5’s (Moonlight aka Oreos) the fives have been my favorite pair since I was a kid but could never seem to find them or afford them. I’m not a sneaker head or anything close to it but I went yesterday and grabbed them. They’re even more amazing than I thought they would be.. I need another pair asap!

I've been wearing jordans and Jordan 5s since they were first released in the early 90s, I've tried all kinds of different ways to lace these shoes, this method is the best by far, I have never seen it done like this. I like having "rabbit ears" on my shoes, that's how I wore them in the late 80s early 90s so that's how I wear them now, but Jordan 5s were always hard to do like that because the laces were so long. This is the best way by far to lace Jordan 5s, so simple, yet it looks the best and deals with the laces being too long if you want rabbit ears. Thanks for posting!!! I never thought I could learn anything new about lacing, since I've been in the shoe game so long, (30+years) yet here I am learning something new. Thanks again.

That extra lace at the top brotha what I normally do is pull all the extra lace do it how you do it take out the insole and pull all the extra lace out and pull it to the length you want and lift up the insoles and put the rest of the loose laces underneath the insole and the laces won’t move and the inside of your shoes will look clean and not look like a mess in side hopefully this will help you out in the future brotha 🤙🤘

I suggest tying a knot after crossing the laces behind the tongue. Then inserting the laces through the eyelets. Hopefully this helps.

If you want an even cleaner lace....instead of crossing them behind the tongue, pull them down on an angle toward the heel, remove the insole, lay the laces flat under where the insole was and replace the insole over top of them...lace tips and extra lace will be tucked away under your foot and insole and invisible....squeaky clean. Dope video though.

Thank you for posting this; I wanted to incorporate the lace locks and still keep the untied look. I followed it exactly until the part where you crossed under the tongue. I don’t know if the GS size laces are different but I didn’t have that much extra length. I looped through the top eyelets instead!
