the thing is, I started dancing when 2017 was ending (I think, maybe?) and I kept doing it. I was thinking that I was a good dancer at the middle of 2018, but when I danced in front of a mirror I laughed at how pathetic I was. But now, I've improved a lot and I'm not laughing at myself. So that's just a little story to make you motivated. Keep going! You'll get there!💫

Am I the only one that doesn’t do counts?? I can’t do counts because it messes me up when I’m dancing, so I just do beat/lyrics association. For example if the song says “rumor rumor” in my head I’m like “oh I’m supposed be doing this at this part”

alondra cries Me too! But as A dancer you should try to train yourself to do it both ways. If you ever take a dance class or anything you would feel awkward to tell the choreographer to switch up what they’re saying. Although some teachers do teach with rhythm. Also it’s better to know both ways because it will you make you a little cleaner as a dancer!

It's just if you watch things over and over you already KiNdA know what's next move For example, like Susie I need to watch dance practices over and over like 10 times a day for only chorus. When I did DDU DU DDU DU cover by BLACKPINK, I watched it 11 times only chorus When you already know the moves then it's easier to cover the choreo or whatever you're covering😊

This video helped me so much because I would like to learn more kpop dance but I couldn't convince myself doing that yet. In August I was able to join a dance class in a dance school but I quickly noticed that I have to do something in my room to improve myself and found your video. It is really helpful and I'm glad that you introduced MirrorTube to us! I'll try to motivate myself in the future :)

I like to sleep on the dances and think of them in the shower and bus and I also rush the moves too much and dont finish them well... I think I'm a weird person because when I watch someone's dance practice I'm able to do some moves from the first look. I never really learned how to dance. Oh and also I don't have to watch the dance practice in mirror version because I can mirror it in my head...like someone moves hand on the right side but I automatically know that it's left hand...is it weird? I think so. Thanks for the tips I might try them next time.

I usually learn dances by watching mirrored dance practices and if there is a part that I have a hard time with I try using counts and that doesn’t help me enough I look dance tutorials. I never been that big on dance tutorials cuz sometime most of the time the member I want to dance as no one teachers there part so I just end up having to learn it myself anyway.

don’t show your face, and find a garage or rooftop if you can. i borrow clothes from my friends in case my wardrobe is recognizable lol anyways, don’t let anything stop you unless you haven’t even started dancing haha. just learn the dances and film it 💫 don’t worry about being different, just as long as you dance, people will watch.

If you do a follow up video, can you mention who you think are some of the best girl group dancers, or your favorite dancers if they're different from who you think are the best. Also, if you want something more stable for propping up your phone, you might look for a mini picture easel at Daiso or Nitori or similar stores. I have one next to my computer for a tiny guitar effects unit and it's very useful. I'd be so annoyed without it.
