Does genki have kanji or teaches you kanji?. And is genki better or worser than tobira?.
@mangostudycat2 ай бұрын
Yes, Genki has a kanji section which includes 145 characters. It's at the last part of the book. I haven't tried Tobira but I suggest searching about it on KZbin. Tokini Andy has a video showing Tobira's contents. Based on his video, I liked Tobira's vocabulary section with pictures. Images are really helpful for me as a beginner. Hope this helps! 🙂

for pibo there is no translation so how do you know what each sentence means
@mangostudycat2 ай бұрын
Hi! I've only started reading Pibo books once I have already learned N5 vocabulary. For words I do not know, I use dictionaries such as Jisho or Renshuu. Pibo's lowest level is "0-3" so some stories are manageable. The pictures are helpful with context too. 🙂
