I learn whole sentences saying them aloud. 5 days - 300 repetitions per day at least. Later I don't need to translate. I know the meaning of words straight away like in my native language. And also I remember the meaning longer than by learning separate words. This method is called: chunking. It was a real game changer in my learning process and communication skills in English and other languages.😊😊

Hi, where can I find the whole sentences for repetition, which help me in daily conversation. Thanks
@FrankKimono744 Жыл бұрын
@@AsadKhan-ft7qc The most important thing is that a sentence is correct regarding grammar and pronunciation so you don't learn with mistakes. You can find them in language courses etc. There are plenty of videos on KZbin. You can decide which sentences and words you need the most.

I used to watch anime in Japanese and read subtitles in English. So my brain was forced to really concentrate on the subtitles since they were the only way I could understand what they were saying. If you can read Italian well then watch a show that's not in English so subtitles become the only way to understand the movie. Hope that helps 💕

Thank you for sharing! Your journey with subtitles sounds amazing! My story is pretty much the same as yours. I started out trying to learn Vietnamese on my own, but got nowhere. It was only when I was using Immersive Translate to generate subtitles to my Netflix - that was when I finally began to get anywhere. I knew that you must keep consistent, so I watched Netflix with the subtitles on every day, and have been making a lot of progress. The other thing is that Immersive Translate has over 100+ languages in its selection, so it wasn’t hard finding my target language.

in brief: **Introduction:** - The video is about how the creator, who is South Asian, learned English on her own. - She shares her journey from struggling with basic English sentences to fluently expressing herself in videos. **Backstory:** - She attended an international school in Saudi Arabia during her elementary years but struggled with spoken English. - Despite the exposure, she was bullied for her inability to speak English fluently. **Self-learning Journey:** 1. **Watching Animes with Subtitles:** After leaving school, she began watching a lot of animes with English subtitles. This helped her improve her reading skills and vocabulary. 2. **Switching to English Shows:** She transitioned to watching English shows like the "Twilight" series and "Harry Potter" with and without subtitles to improve her listening skills. 3. **Talking to Herself:** She practiced speaking English by talking to herself, imagining conversations, and even pretending to be a beauty blogger. 4. **Having an Ideal:** She looked up to celebrities like Keira Knightley and Emma Watson, imagining conversations with them to improve her demeanor and English. **Key Takeaways:** - Traditional language learning methods, like focusing solely on grammar and vocabulary, might not be as effective as immersive methods. - It's essential to enjoy the learning process and make it feel effortless. - The purpose of learning English should be clear. It should be for personal or professional growth, not just to "flex" or show off, especially in regions where English is considered a status symbol. - She emphasizes the importance of being proud of one's culture and native language. **Conclusion:** - The creator hopes viewers found her tips valuable and encourages them to be proud of their linguistic backgrounds.
