Prefer express and node however when I was doing Python stuff flask was the go to. This video kinda has me wanting to write a rest api in Python for my next project lol

COOL VIDEO! I never worked on the backend, I've only worked on the client side with JavaScript, and some React but not much. Learning Python now for the backend. Could you say Flask is good for beginners like myself?

This video is great! Thanks for sharing! One request: Can you push the source to github so people can follow along with the video?

As a web developer i honestly thought what the key purpose of Flask is. The manual doesn't really tell afaik. Just checked it for a minute, not too deep. Only thing i saw is "developing web applications using python". Now i don't know coding in Python, as i said i'm a web dev. Maybe it's really just useful for small applications/tools like you just did in the video. Anyway, that's not even why i'm commenting. I was almost going to ask if you can do the same for React and well... i'm surprised you already did, thanks. :D Learning React was something that's lingering in my to-do list for so long, but i never really needed it. I'm definitely going to check out that video. It's kind of been a negative comment i realized, but that's not really my intent. I'm actually glad you do these things, i love your attitude in general. Motivates me in many ways, really. I appreciate what you do here!

Thanks for sharing. The more I’m using flask the more I realize it’s limitations. Like to return simple json from SQLAlchemy queries you need to do weird serialization and it gets very complicated even for simple joins.

good concept, probably I will do something with it for personal project

So you pretty much didn’t learning. Just copy paste bootstrap and sqlacademy components. Power is when you write from scratch not playing with lego 😂

5 days.. you are too slow.. flask does not have enough stuff for 5 days even if you say you learned for 2 to 3 hours
