learning and writing code in react-native is something that any newbie can do, the real thing is maintaining the react-native project over the period of time, things like Xcode updates, libraries/dependencies, pods updates could easily break your previously running applications. mostly you'll be troubleshooting than coding.

For anyone wondering if it's hard no it isn't the only hard thing is getting android studio and react native setup if u havnt used android studio before but after that it's like 90% normal react knowledge, then comes platform specific and sensors and all that stuff which can take a bit of time but not much

I love the idea of cross-platform development because it saves so much time and resources but I always end up going back to native development for a couple of reasons. One of my reasons is that it's just a more polished experience using Swift and Kotlin. Another reason is that React Native doesn't have half as many features as native development does for the end user. I don't think any cross-platform solution can fix these issues because these are just the consequences of cross-platform development that just can't go away. I would love to see where React Native goes in the future but I will still develop in native code even if it means more time and work that is required.
