@@kenknapp2319 I live with a coyote lol well, part coyote. So that’s one way, have a big dog to bring along. And I have other methods to protection, I also no longer stay out of a tent, I will, however being going back to tent living again soon. But this time, not in the desert. Probably like you mentioned, near cityish. Somewhere stealthy. Like some of the comments here- camo tent

I used to live in a tent in Hawai'i for like over 10 years. Nice to have a river nearby, makes keeping up with hygiene a lot easier. a green tent would make it a lot easier with camouflage though. I was fighting for my son at that time as well.

Just fyi, there are a surprisingly large number of people who can figure out your exact location right down to GPS coordinates from little details in terrain, landmarks, flight paths etc. And simply saying that no-one knows you're there is enough of a challenge for them to do it. It's like a crossword puzzle for such people.

I read most of the comments. Camo netting is a great idea but not cheap. Camo tarps from Harbor Freight are a cheap idea and a good idea but sometimes can reflect sunlight. Maybe a light coat of flat camo colors spray paint to cut the shine. Don’t spray your tent. That may keep you somewhat invisible from above. Yeah, your tent is really a bright color. The Darkness technology Sounds great. Lots of very positive comments and helpful comments from fellow human beings are always nice to see. I’ll be back to check on you. Oh one more thing. Don’t show any money again or any buildings near you. Safety review your video before publishing. Edit that out, if you can, then republish it. Never enter and exit the same way. Watch your six carefully. I used to be in industrial security. You have a great attitude. Stay that way. Most of all, Stay safe.

Nothing is stopping you from living like a bird. Of course, like a bird, you can't live in a house. You can't use a phone or the internet. You can't drive or benefit from modern transportation. You have to live out in the wild, drink from puddles in the ground, and sleep out in the open in the dead of winter. OR If you'd rather live with the conveniences of human society, you have to contribute to that society because nothing is for free. Houses don't build themselves. They don't fix their own roofs when they wear out. They don't fix plumbing when it breaks. Crops don't rais themselves and deliver themselves to the grocery store. People have to work long hard days to provide every service you enjoy living in human society. It's grossly unfair and immoral to expect all those hardworking people to provide those services to you for nothing in return. People don't understand what money is. It is the receopt that proves that you have contributed your portion to society. When you work and contribute, you get your receipt (paycheck), which you can use to collect a portion of other people's goods and services that they have contributed to the economy. Sometimes your add value to society directly by performing labor. Sometimes you create value by creating an opportunity that would not have existed without you. Opportunity itself is of great value and should be paid for just like everything else of value in the economy.

@@chubbyninja842except when we’re born into wealth .. even Buddha walked away from his wealth to live in the open & drink from puddles .. society asks that you give everything you have .. living free , everything , including a cold winters night is a treasurerd gift . That's a really nice tent you have. I recommend throwing a tarp over it so the sun doesn't damage it as quickly and for extra protection. That tent looks like it's $200 - 300, and a tarp that covers it would probably only be $15-20. Another consideration when choosing a tent for a base camp/ car camping setup is the poles. You will want better poles that cannot bend or snap. I think quick setup cabin tents may be better for this, but generally speaking, heavier tents will have more rigid poles. I know you said there's a taco truck nearby etc, but have you considered a cooler and small stove? Perhaps even a solar setup with 12v cooler and other power features for your base camp. I enjoy cooking, and would choose to have some simple meals i can make near my tent as an option to make it feel more homey. I wish you luck with your nomadic stealth camping setup.

Borrowed my girlfriend's tent to stay in a campground I was working 100 miles away and it was cheaper than motel. Came home from work at the tent was gone, the people in the next campsite had gotten kicked out and decided to steal my tent on the way out. So I'd say the problem with living in a tent is, how to you keep people from stealing stuff? I was smart enough to keep everything else the car, but didn't feel like taking down and rebuilding the tent every day.

You must be a real pain in the butt to have to disassemble before heading out and then when you get back having to put everything back up but at least you have less of a chance of your tent getting taken . I'm really hoping that your situation will turn around and that you'll be able to afford more of the lifestyle you really need

That is one beautiful river! There are other examples of rivers flowing northward. Some of the most famous are the Nile, Russia's Ob, Lena, and Yenisey Rivers. The Nissequogue and Red Rivers in the U.S and Florida's St. Johns River also flow north.

I mean there are places that I can camp out here in there (which I have). But no where to actually set up a sustanble camp long term. Keep doing what your doing. Hope you get back to your children soon.

Appreciate that man, yeah city’s are hard to camp in peacefully. I’d rather camp in the forest, or at that point in my life, the desert near the river. Im in an SUV since then living in Venice Beach, CA. Tent living i loved. Honestly, the most beautiful experience when you do it right. And yeah, not in the city.

Bro your vibe is fantastic. Keep it up. Get back with your kids when you can, and never give up on that. They’re waiting for you. I take my kids tent camping a ton, and there was a time I thought we would have to live in a car or in a tent. If it ever came to that, it would be okay. Everything is temporary. Brother i hope you can be with your kiddo's as soon as posible. I know too well what its like not having you life generators around us. It sux, super sux, sux ass. It really bites hard sometimes. But please sing and write passionate songs. With words that conquer hearts and and send love to your childrens hearts. That will let them know your always loving the shit outa them. And good stuff brother. I would have loved to make a channel like this but at the time all the drama was going on my ego was just anemicly inflated with invisible bullishit. Thinking that i was victim and always right. But good luck brother and rock on and win new hearts.
