Its happening in every town and city across the UK and Ireland and also mainland Europe too (have a look at the state of German cities too for drug use) where you have the place literally falling down round us in every way imaginable, western govts right across the board fail their citizens with policies that enrich the rich basically at the expense of the rest of society. Endless money for wars (wars which led to a migration crisis) as we are told there's no money foe NHS no money for drug rehab programmes no money for roads, schools etc etc etc. videos like yours show tte out workings of failed govt policies but also to me they show that when it comes to drug addiction you have to be cruel to be kind, we need proper strategies to break the cycles of addiction and not just handing out needles and tents.

@@BirmzisgrimeRawUncutI second that. I mean I love documentaries, interviews etc and I feel so bad for drug addicted people and a channel like this, gives them a voice, humanises them and of course, donations can help with getting clean and generally just getting by. So many people look down on drug users and it isn’t right. I’ll admit that there’s unfortunately many drug addicts, hanging in my local streets and they bloody piss me off because they are nasty aggressive and obnoxious etc but even though I don’t like them, they are suffering and I still feel for them. I really wish people that looked down on heavy drug addicts could spend 1 day in the life of an addict and after that day of hell, they’d not look down on people, like they used to. I hope this isn’t a 2 video and done channel. ❤

hi I live in shared, supported accomadation with drug takers. Its so scary as they are different people when they are not high, not as aggressive. I was forced into this accomodation as I lost my job due to my health issues and couldn't pay my rent in my old apartment. I am planning to move away up to scotland or the north east and never to return to Brum again hopefully by the end of next year and build my life. Its quite grim here and the drug dealers are on the increase too exploiting these poor addicts

First hello to the lovely friends in the video. Second I am living the nightmare of one paycheck away from being homeless. I am 53 years old, have worked always, redundant in covid, now a school cleaner. I have weekly jobcentre appointments cos I don't do enough hours. I am massively in debt with my household bills and continually threatened with losing my tenancy and bailiffs. I have nothing to take but years of this has put me on the edge and I ask myself why wake up for another day of work then all the threats. This country is broken beyond repair in my lifetime.

Addiction isn’t a choice.

@@grahamkelly8662 I started doing a documentary on this subject, some of them I haven't uploaded yet. Some raw stuff,, but the conclusion of many of the episodes is it is 100% self-inflicted however... I mainly cover people that beat the addictions the people that are interviewed who do crack and heroin they were the worst they literally said that they want to take over the world with their addiction hoping that everyone gets on it... When I asked them if they enjoy what they do they all replied yes they would not change it for anything yes they regret their decision but they still wouldn't change it for anything the alone blew my mind who got the twins for these documentaries very very eye-opening I think they should do more 💯💎

@grahamkelly8662 Addiction is a choice. Does the drugs miraculously find its way into their system..or does the person chose to put that sh*t into their system ? They made a choice..simple as that.

professional drug takers should not be allowed to be drug workers period,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 4:35 he says to survive yano wow.. that is not surviving ,, what backwards logic ........
@Kennyperse3 ай бұрын
A lot of drug workers have been on drugs themselves so know the situation they need to get them out of it. But I agree you can’t be helping people off drugs if you’re on them yourself 💯

I used to be one myself (drug worker, project/support & addict) & when it comes to addiction & related issues there is no one better to give advice & guidance than another recovering addict, It doesn't matter how many letters you have after your name or how many books you have read on the subject of addiction there's no substitute for first hand experience!

How about unprofessional?
@meyemediauk3 ай бұрын
@@mcvicarross7 only a sober person can teach somebody how to be sober, taking advice on how to be clean is always safer from somebody who has been clean. Rather than somebody who struggled with self-control was somebody who didn't know how to say no to drugs at one point.. It's logical
