This is the best mindset. The main goal shouldn’t be to “lose weight” but to give your body enough to fuel itself, no more no less. The weight loss is just a happy consequence. :)

If you enjoy the physical activity, it helps a lot to maintain it as it does not feel “working out”. Me, i learned tennis and to enable me to play well, i added slowly some weight training and from 5lbs dumbbell i am now using 10lbs. My day isn’t complete if i dont move. I also do 30 mins walk/jog. I think i did not lose so much weight but i became stronger and my body looks better, toned and proportional.

This is so nostalgic for me. In 2016 I lost so much weight in so little time too. I think I was size US 6 to 8 then i dropped to size 2 or even 0 in a matter of 2 MONTHS!! Ang dahilan: NASAWI AKO SA PAG IBIG! Hahahaha! Noon kasi imbes na umiyak ako, nag work out ako. I went trekking. I travelled. Now that I'm married, I'm back to size 8 and even 10. LOL! But sabi pa ni ate Raiza, ano man ang size, size 0 or size 10 man, i love myself. That's what's important.

Love this! This weight loss is very sustainable kasi it has become a lifestyle and not just a “rush” thing. I lost 9kgs since January/February this year. I do IF! Mainly to be healthy because I have PCOS, weight loss is only secondary. Thanks for this video, Rai! So empowering!

So happy for you and so happy for me too. I ate but I moved. Moving really makes a big difference. I didn't feel the burden of losing weight. I lost the weight without starving. I lost the weight and gained experiences, visited new places and had new memories. From 67kg at the start of 2023 to 58kg atm. Wew! Let's goooooo~

I used to be 45kg as a 5’0 now I’m 56 :(( I would always hate myself for eating alot but would get stressed out if I don’t eat enough. I’ll do my best to incorporate movement everyday!

Hi Rai! So happy for you. I was also on a weight loss journey about the same time you started. Just to share, I did yoga daily, switched to Mediterranean diet (fruits, veggies, salads, fish, sometimes chicken). And lost the weight as well. YES! MOVEMENT helps a lot kasi hahanapin talaga ng katawan mo. Same here, nagulat din ako when I suddenly fit a size small when I try on clothes.

You looked beautiful before and now! Congratulations on your hard work - you’re glowing 💕. I have to share bc I went through something similar. I was always heavy my entire life. I started getting serious about my health and trained for a race. That’s what jumped started my weight loss. I lost 30lbs in about 3 months bc of the training schedule. I continued to lose weight afterwards. I wasn’t dieting or doing heavy exercise but I was still losing weight. I kinda thought it was because of my lifestyle changes. Towards the last few months I dropped weight pretty quickly. I decided to do some blood work and realized I had an overactive thyroid. Something really common with women in their 30s. So anyone looking to lose weight, I recommend getting blood work done prior to make sure you’re okay. I’m now working with my dr to normalize my thyroid levels.

Based on your kwento, what made you lose that much weight in 2 months is the little amount of food that you were taking in, which is almost always the case with weight loss. Exercise is good for cardiovascular health but most of the time it doesn’t burn as many calories as we think. We just need to eat till we’re almost full. I lost 20 lbs in 20 days doing this.

I had similar experience from her, inevitably I started to lose weight by gradually back in yoga, IF and less sugar pa rin. In a week I lost 4kg but really depends pa rin on our metabolism. Keep positive but don’t push yourself to lose

Losing weight os easier for someone who doesn't have a corporate job. Yung walang 8-5 or more na working hrs or nasa office/workplace. Yung hindi need gumising ng napaka aga para hindi masyadong makipag agawan ng jeep every commute.

you can start with weekends. or 10 minute workouts at night. 10 minutes wouldn’t hurt. little sacrifices like reducing 10minutes screen time and converting it to something more value adding

Rice if too much nakakabusog nga but after a shortwhile gutom ka na nman. Rice and sugar if too much stimulates your hunger pangs. Unlike hi protein suppresses your appetite long term. Kaya yung mga nagkeketo walang hunger pangs. Kaya kung madali ka magutom pwedeng kulang ka sa protein. Ideally more protein , veggies and less carbo and sweets. What others do they eat first there protein and veggies , pag busog na they eat there carbo and sweets but minimal lang. ‘’ Eat food like your medicine or else later on in life , you will eat your medicines like your food.’’

Walking talaga, kaya pag mag walk sa threadmill, lagyan ng incline atleast 10 minimum… just like hiking lang yun. And the best yung kakain ka pero need mo iburn always, pero hnd mo need ng malakasang lifting. Im walk in my threadmill before i sleep atleast 1 hour, tapos may swimming activity din ako atleast every twice a week, then nag tennis din. I eat everything i want. But yun nga must burn it talaga.

This happened to me pero its not something I was super proud kasi I lost weight in the most unhealthy way.. I would starve myself and it came to a point na work out ako ng work out sobrang na addict ako don pero hindi ako nagugutom so wala akong kinakain minsan sa maghapon. Kung kakain man ako oatmeal lang. My weight went from 60 - 45 kilos. When I look at my photos before I feel sad cause I looked sickly pero nung mga time na un ang saya ko kasi akala ko I looked good and I was never a skinny girl so it felt good na I can fit myself sa xs na damit. Can I just say it was so easy to shop for clothes back then! HAHA this was 2020 when everybody was gaining weight due to lock downs and all and I'm losing it. Ang reason, yes heart break. Now I'm back to 63 kilos, overweight na ako for my height, and struggling to lose weight. I gotta be honest it's hard to look in the mirror sometimes. Also, not going out to see friends cause I would hate how I'd look sa mga photos.

True this binawasan ko langng konti yung kinakain ko and made sure to exercise everyday for 20 to 30 minutes lang and i lost weight but slowly bumalik kasi napalakas ulit kain ko and nawala yung exercise ko. Because of this I’ll go back to what i used to doing to lose weight again and for healthier body na rin. ❤❤❤

A must needed watch! I've been struggling to lose weight primarily because of sedentary lifestyle & being surrounded with people with good appetite! I'm a Cancer Survivor & has a mild case of cerebral palsy due to traumatic birth. With that said, it's best for me to maintain a certain weight range but rice is life they say! I'll do this! So proud of you, ate rai! I also heard about this from a nutritionist, na you consume based on your daily activity. Before, I don’t eat at night, and I don’t eat rice or even meat. I also tried IF and low carb but it did not work for me as well, and intense working out because sweating makes me breakout and feel extremely tired. But now, I move every day, and I eat light, and I also slowly turn my diet into a clean-lean diet to be more healthy and sustainable. Proper sleeping also helps a lot, and always drink water! Home-cooked meals are much better than fast food. Love and appreciate yourself; it will take some time but always prioritize YOU. 🤍

The best mode of body measurement is always clothes. 🥰 Minsan hinidi accurate ang mga weighing devices kasi even if you see your weight is heavy, that could be muscles developing within if you are moving a lot. Congrats sayo!! Na-achieve ko weight loss ko sa IF and a LOT of daily walking.

Pag abrupt weight loss, minsan causes lots of falling hair. 2 lbs a week weight loss is good and to avoid too much flab. 30 min work out , 6X/week is sufficient.

I was so surprised that you dance really well! I miss dancing too. When I dance I noticed din I wasnt craving food as much. But when I attend like 2 dance classes in a row ang lakas ng appetite ko pero pumapayat padin ako kasi halos everyday ako sumasayaw after work sa gym and then on weekends I attend hiphop dance classes.
