Don't wait, it might not be around for long: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJy6eJhjhrCJnqs To anyone who wants to lose weight as well: - Drink water before meals, consuming a glass of water before meals can help you feel fuller, which may lead to consuming fewer calories during the meal. - Replace sugary drinks with water, swap out sugary sodas, juices, and energy drinks with water. Not only will this reduce your calorie intake, but it will also eliminate empty calories and added sugars from your diet. - Stay hydrated, sometimes feelings of hunger can actually be masked thirst. Aim to drink water consistently throughout the day to stay hydrated and avoid mistaking thirst for hunger. See you guys when you reached your weight loss goals and feel amazing!

This video really touched me. I'm currently 21 years old, and my entire life I've been ostracized for my body, told to eat less, lose weight etc, by everyone around me--particularly my family. Now looking back, I ate so much and didn't care for it's implications, because I was not getting any emotional support. Food was my therapy. And it's taken me years to realise this. I have a better relationship with food now, but a really toxic perception of my body and my weight. I have trauma associated with this, because I was essentially bullied about it my entire life by the people closest to me. I'm working on this in therapy, and it's not something that will go away so quickly, it will be work, but I'm willing to do the work. I agree with everything Liz said, I was gaining trauma weight. Additionally, the scale has been such a major trigger for me. When I see the number go up--regardless of whether it's muscle weight or water weight, I will have a mental breakdown, because in my mind my entire worth relies on this number."If I am fat, I will be unlovable" That is something I've come to believe and thats' been enforced on me. Now, I am working to heal myself within, build a good relationship with food, and take care of my body for me. I am trying to loose weight, but I am finally going about it the right way, and not letting anyone's perception of me affect that.

She's absolutely right about all of this, it starts with you. Self love and facing yourself and remembering good things take consistency and devotion, while also compassion for yourself is a recipe to a better you. I may also add that along with gratitude, focusing on what you can control is a game changer. Getting healthy for YOUR OWN VALIDATION will take you far as well. I'm on this journey and came off of all social media so I wasn't tempted to show off what I'm accomplishing. Don't waste time on that, they see you when you emerge out of the cocoon. Everyone will not be happy that you have began to value yourself, don't take it personally. Peep that they benifited from your lack of self love and boundaries and release them silently with love and move forward.

Woooow wow wow wooowww wow. I’m literally always saying to myself *AS OF RECENT* that *less is more* and it’s SO. TRUE. Around October-November I noticed my body was changing soooo much because I quit heavy lifting, (putting so much stress on my body AND mind), got my 10K steps in a day, only doing full body workouts here on YT with 7lb weights 2-3x a week. And the pounds were droppppping. We have to remember *especially* as women we have the power in our minds to manifest anything. We just have to really slow down and go within. Liz you are speaking facts my girl! 👏🏼 ladies, slow down. The more you’re stressing the more you’re pushing away your desired goals. ❤ Had to add! I’ve been adding Pilates 3x a week to my morning routine!!! This video is so in *alignment* with what I’ve been doing and thinking lately. So crazy!! Liz, you really are a wizard 🧙♀️😉

This is so true! I think we have spent the best part of a decade being told to lift HEAVY, eat lots of protein and eat x amount of calories to either lose, maintain or gain weight. I tried this and ended up putting on mass because I was eating far too much for what my body actually needs and I feel as though I was hitting my macros but the micronutrients were lacking and I ended up with so many deficiencies. I’ve decided to take it easy, I weight-train, I run, walk, jog, do Pilates, workout with KZbin videos, hit up yoga when I can afford it and eat more intuitively, and I feel so much better for it. My skin has cleared up and I feel healthier for it. So I’m with you there!

Hey! I am going to add to this. So, I made a promise to myself that I would only eat when hungry and when I ate that I would focus on repairing my gut health. Honestly, without trying I am very satiated as I am listening to when my body tells me, "ok, I'm hungry now. Feed me." Rather than just eating out of boredom or because I can. My gut health has been all over the place too and it's evident because my eczema has almost gone. I am down 10lbs without trying and I have shifted my focus away from weight-lifting and protein protein protein. I am taking slow and using my body more functionally with intention. I absolutely agree with our Liz on healing. We can't be better within ourselves because our intentions aren't from a healthy place to even make them reality. We do things for all of the wrong reasons because we are not okay.

WHATTT!? dear, Liz, i feel like you’re literally reading minds or at least mine!! a week ago i started my glow up/weight loss/fitness journey and i’m still keeping up. i am really proud of myself for taking actions but literally today i felt like “i’m close to failure” but then pushed myself and just valued my priorities that i want HEALTHY mindset & body. that’s really important, please everyone focus on that and feel your body as much as you can. so Liz, thanks for this video, that pushes me even more forward ❤️🩹

The first point is so true , when she talks about trauma it might not be extreme , or at least in your eyes ❤ so if you previously lost weight fully and gained again then maybe you have associated sadness and failure with preparing good meals

Liz, we love when you talk about trauma. I noticed that ALL my negative traits were a result of childhood trauma. In fact, the more you talk about it, the more i realize im not alone, and the more i learn how to grow from it.❤ Blessings✨️💛

this video came up just at the right time. I was laying down thinking about my body and how I need to eat less to stay skinny. This video helped me to relax and focus on other things in my life and perfect beautiful body will follow along.❤

i struggled with eating a lot in the past and having lowe self esteem, im glad liz talked about how healing from your past can help you lose weight because i honestly believe i would never had this obssesion with weight loss if it wasn't for how my childhood was. Now I want to focus on my goals and hobbies and not make my body the main focuas i know i am deserving of love and there is so much more to me, this video is a great reminder i can take care of my body and health internelly and physically without feeling like i have to reach a goal, i want to live more freely and do these things for my own self instead of caring how other people view me. Meditaion and praying is deifintly something that changed me i was able to find peace in my mind while taking more care of my soul that should have always come first before my body, I still think it is important to take care of health but this time want to do it without labelling certain foods as bad or talking to myself negitivly, i want to stay busy and active, i want to eat in a way that'll give me energy and make me feel happier. Thank you Liz for making this video and helping so many people!

I've been trying to practice this kind of mindset since I was 15, and it does really changed my whole being. Self love and self discipline really has a major impact in our lives. I'm 17 right now and still sticking into this kind of mindset, I hope everyone can achieve self love and self discipline.

Thank you for saying it's okay to skip breakfast! I never eat breakfast because I'm never hungry in the morning and people always gave me grief for that. Why would someone force themselves to eat if they're not hungry??

When she talked about eating a savory breakfast instead of a sweet one I was like yesss!! It reminded be of the book “Glucose Revolution” by Jessie Inchauspé (a.k.a. The Glucose Goddess) and guys this book has helped me a ton. It’s not what you eat, but in what order or combined with what food. Really recommend this book ❤️

YOUR VIDEO WAS RELEASED ONE HOUR AGO, AND I MUST SAY, YOU ARE RIGHT! I worked on healing my childhood trauma and worked on habits and behaviours of mine and I never felt so free and I lost all the access fat and got rid of bloating within 5 weeks. This actually works! & I didn’t work out or something

Liz, the woman that you are. I don’t know why but it’s 2am and I just felt a random need to watch your videos and this is the first one i hadn’t watched so I clicked on it. Immediately I got hit with this wave of positivity and this beautiful magnetic aura and I was just in awe. Halfway through the video I went online to look up prices for lymphatic drainage massages and one thing led to another and I was reminded of my passion and wants to start my own business(es). So now instead of scrolling endlessly I feel incredibly motivated to get started and actually start taking steps towards it. Ive been watching you for over a year now and I’m incredibly grateful I found you 💗
