2k worth of steam games now trying to pick off RPGs on weekend with my steam deck but taking an hour so for mutiplayers games with mate or couch coop and shortest time to beat I have (around an hour from website time to beat.)

Good tips. The ps portal was amazing for me as a first time dad with a toddler. That’s when the ps5 games were able to be played a lot more.

@dismaynegaming never knew gaming backlog was a real thing until now. I been knocking games down but on easy just got the experience and story - life got me hanging up the trophy hunting days

Dude I made a similar choice this day. I also am trying to just be more present, and focused on getting through some games. I've almost finished two so far this year. I only am going to plat the games that I love, but I won't be buying games until I finish 5. One game for every 5 that I finish and already own.

I always struggle with the dropping a game if it's not fun. I always worry I'm gonna drop the game right before the good part. I also have a spreadsheet of my games and it's been a great tool for me. I've also been using a random number picker to pick which game I play, since I have a hard time deciding.

the random number picker concept is GENIUS! taking the decision away is a lot of the battle. I may adopt that one to be honest haha. but agree that I hate giving up on games too early too as I don't want to miss the 'good' parts but also the time already given into it, its hard to just quit it but we are working past it!
